A nice and large apartment, with lot of air (old building, with large distance from floor to ceiling). Our apartment, though clean and nice, could need some new paint or better wall cleaning. Placed on the 3rd floor, we got some excercise... Lots of traffic outside, but good windows stopped all noise. Short distance to Alexanderplatz and to lots of... More

We stayed a week in Greifswalder Strasse. Large apartment, clean, quiet and great area with many good restaurants. The apartment has four individual beds - very confortable. Kitchen new and well equipped. Bathroom new and clean - towels supplied by the hotel.

The check in went fast without any problems. The apartment was clean and spasious. Great location: next to center, shopping center and attractions.Staff is on call 24/7. Recommend for other tourists.Do not be shy to ask them to turn up the heat, Berlin nights can be really cold.

On arrival, the people at the office were lovely and friendly and we got a free upgrade from a studio apartment to a studio plus! Our apartment was on the 3rd floor which was a bit of a hassle with no lift and heavy suitcases, but for the amount of times we had to walk up the stairs, it was... More

Myself and 12 friends stayed in two of the apartments in this block and we were really pleased with them. Pretty basic, but perfect for us as all rooms were large, with high ceilings and plenty of space. Three of us were sharing a couple of the rooms and it still felt huge. Good sized kitchen and plenty of room... More

Four of us stayed in the room. We enjoyed a clean room, with four beds, bath and kitchen. We were really tired, or the neighboring music would have kept us awake. And at about seven in the morning, the garbage bin was dragged across the lot. It was very loud. We still enjoyed the central location.

The Schonhauser Allee finds itself in a great location in Berlin. With the tube station at your doorstep (U2) it is incredibly easy to move around in the city. Our apartment was located at the back of the building, through the front door you cross a courtyard to the back building, which made our stay a quiet one, unfortunately this... More

We were very happy with our apartment and delighted at the location, it was so handy for the underground, mauer markt, shops, cafes etc There were lots of hipster shops and cafes a short walk away. The apartment was very clean, had all the necessary items, and was warm and quiet. I will certainly stay here again when visiting Berlin.

3 friends 1 boy 2 girls book a 2 bed apartment in this hell hole!!! Absolutely shocking. We admitedly booked late check in. To which we were advised we must pay €20 for the inconvenience. The man kept us waiting 15 mins outside the front door whilst he made his way to the apartments from the bar. All 3 of... More

I read many reviews for different hotels in Berlin and this one stood out. I'm glad I noticed others mentioned picking the keys up at a different location, but it was also in the confirmation email I received. The location to pick the keys up was close to the apartments and easy to find. The office area has many different... More

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighborhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighborhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
