We stayed for 4 nights and were so happy to be in a modern and comfy hotel. Economy room is on the small side if you're not used to small places but it was fine for us! Nice and quiet too which I was unsure about given the street has quite a few bars. Really friendly service. €10 for breakfast... More

I was pleased when i arrived with nice welcoming and delighted with my room. Rooms are really great especially double and location is grants you easy access to everything. Very central and very quite so you can easily rest. Service is great and had no issues. I did stay for 3 nights though but would definitely come back again when... More

I booked an economy double room at a very good price, as written in other reviews these rooms are not that big, but they're well furnished and I didn't feel like we were missing anything. The window opened on an interior garden, so it was very quiet at night and we didn't have any trouble sleeping. My favourite part of... More

In 3 nights my bed hasn't been done either once, no change of towels. Toilet seat broken - reported the first day and the answer was 'but it works'. Too noisy, cleaners at 8am cleaning the close room shouting between them. Really hot during the night and also room was really small. Lights aren't great in the room: just 2... More

Originally booked to stay in Sept in a single room. I had to amend my booking to December and decided to go with a friend which the hotel was able to accommodate (for a small surcharge). When we saw the single room, we asked to upgrade to something larger (worth the extra daily charge). I would recommend you book a... More

I booked a budget room for 1 night only as I decided to go on a whim a day before I planned, for which I had supposedly a better, proper room booked already. The budget room was reduced on this website. When I got there, the room was actually in the basement level, it was overheated , without a proper... More

Me and my girlfriend have been here twice now this year and its just perfect, rooms are a nice size, smart TV and amazing breakfast.. Would recommend to anyone.. Rooms that face the the street are bigger and rooms that end in 6 have a balcony perfect in the summer.

Chose this hotel for proximity to gay scene & it is perfectly placed between the two main gay streets. Hotel is very pleasing on the eye, nice decor and furnishings in rooms. Only gripe is that the rooms are a bit small - we asked to be moved to a bigger one - staff were helpful and moved us. Also... More

Hotel itself is ok as a base just to sleep and have breakfast. They seem to have gone for modern style but what has happened in the process is cold and unwelcoming. Some of the furniture is so badly scratched it needs the bin and there are dents and digs everywhere, it definitely needs some urgent TLC. The rooms are... More

Staying in Schoneberg

Neighborhood Profile
Schoneberg
In 1963, Schöneberg was the center of the political west, inspiring John F. Kennedy to choose this area to famously announce, "Ich bin ein Berliner." Times may have changed, but modern-day Schöneberg still pays tribute to its historical legacies. Once the richest city outside of Berlin proper, the area's affluent past is still visible in ornate housing facades dating back to the Gründerzeit of the 19th century, while residents in fur coats walking their dogs or shopping in high-end KaDeWe continue the tradition with a modern flair. Schöneberg was also once the center of the decadent and burlesque nightlife of the 1920s. It was here that Marlene Dietrich partied with Christopher Isherwood and the first gay bar in Germany was founded. Today, the gay community still revolves around Nollendorfplatz. The overground Ubahn station is even illuminated in rainbow colors, paying tribute to Schöneberg's progressive past.
