This hotel was a pleasant surprise for us. We picked entirely because of it´s location in Charlottenburg and due to the low price, didn´t really expect a lot. But wow, everything was good. The room was new and had a trendy design. Electrical curtains, nice bath, beautiful wooden floor. Will definitely return!

Please be warned this hotel was dire and spoiled our trip to a marvellous city ❗ the room was a box unlike the brochure. The shower ran over the toilet floor. The staff appeared to be disinterested and lacked any customer care skills unless demanding money for out of hours drinks. Please note no complimentary tea coffee or water..had to navigate... More

Loved this trendy little design hotel. It was just far enough away from crazy downtown in a quiet little neighborhood. The staff were awesome and the hotel was very clean. It's 10 minutes to the metro and their is a fun walking street along the way.

I stayed here with my girlfriend in September 2014. Having read some reviews on Tripadvisor before we came, we were slightly worried about what we were going to find. On arrival in Berlin, we got the train from the Airport to Potsdammer Platz, then the U-bahn U2 train (towards Ruhleben) from Postdammer Platz to Nollendorfplatz station. We struggled to find... Stayed here for 4 nights and it was very good we booked the deluxe room which was rather big and had a balcony.. The wifi worked all the time and was enough to stream netflix.. The TV in the roof was quite big but most channels never worked but this didn't really bother us as we come to look at... More

I stayed here for 2 night. It's situated on a quiet street which is about 40 minutes by bus to Tegal Airport. Rooms are comfortable stylish and modern. Staff are extremely helpful and English speaking. Breakfast is good however it only has cold foods. Rooms are very small.

On a relatively quite street only a few minutes from Nollendorf U Bahn station this 5 storey hotel earns the name "boutique hotel" no problem, Stylish furnishings, friendly and efficient staff and very close to lots of Berlins attractions.

The key to understanding this hotel is in the name - 'design'. It's in a good location, the noise levels are low for the area and the hotel looks great both internally and externally. However, that is also the problem. Functionality has (in my opinion) been overtaken by design considerations. The reception is efficient and friendly although being in the... More

This hotel is perfect for a city break. The staff were really friendly and my room was perfect. I booked a standard double not economy which i believe are small after reading reviews on here. Rest assured a 'standard double' room is a decent size, what you would expect in a city location really. The room was stylishly designed with... More

Stayed here during the first week of May for a few days with my mum. Firstly hotel was about 30-40 minute drive from schonefield airport. On arrival staff were relatively friendly as we checked in. The hotel outside view is no the most welcoming but once you get inside its fine. The design of the hotel is quite dark and... More

Staying in Schoneberg

Neighborhood Profile
Schoneberg
In 1963, Schöneberg was the center of the political west, inspiring John F. Kennedy to choose this area to famously announce, "Ich bin ein Berliner." Times may have changed, but modern-day Schöneberg still pays tribute to its historical legacies. Once the richest city outside of Berlin proper, the area's affluent past is still visible in ornate housing facades dating back to the Gründerzeit of the 19th century, while residents in fur coats walking their dogs or shopping in high-end KaDeWe continue the tradition with a modern flair. Schöneberg was also once the center of the decadent and burlesque nightlife of the 1920s. It was here that Marlene Dietrich partied with Christopher Isherwood and the first gay bar in Germany was founded. Today, the gay community still revolves around Nollendorfplatz. The overground Ubahn station is even illuminated in rainbow colors, paying tribute to Schöneberg's progressive past.
