I was very happy to find this hotel. I thought it could be a best-value, but during the first night I found some bed bugs on the pillows and mattress. When I checked all the bed, I found a nest of bed bugs under the mattress. I asked the staff to resolve the problem and change my room, but they... More

I stayed there for a couple of nights, my room was right above a strip club but the noise was not too bad, the room was clean, breakfast and staff was nice. Area is very nice and transportation is super easy, I would recommend it!!

This hotel is located a bit away from the centre, but is very close to the Charlottenburg metro station from where you can reach any part of Berlin within half an hour. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good and sufficient. There a lot of good restaurants and bars nearby, so you don't... More

In Berlin we initially wanted to stay in an apartment. In Amsterdam we own the Canal Holiday apartment so than we could compare. When we saw the location and price of Koenigshof we decided to book it.

It was good. Breakfast also acceptable. Park place nearby on road or garage. Tube or train nearby. They charge my card for a half of due, another half I paid in cash. Polite servis made. Drinks, bus, tube or train ticket avaiable on reception.

I am giving this a very good status for a few reasons - price €30 per night for a very clean room, which though across from the train station I could sleep soundly, the breakfast was definitely sufficient, you could use the internet for free and they kept my bag as I had a evening flight. 2 things I would... I spent a short break in Berlin last December with my daughter, from 6th to 10th. We found the Koenigshof on-line, and were really impressed with the place when we arrived. The room was very comfortable with pillows to die for, breakfast was a wide variety of help yourself buffet and plenty more than adequate. Our travel from Schoenfeld airport... More

I stayed at Koenigshof for a work conference in March and would not stay again. I was aware when I booked that the bathroom was separate, so I knew I had chosen a budget room. However at a cost of 190 euros for 3nights, it was still a reasonable cost for what I think was an unsatisfactory room. My main... More

Arriving at a narrow entrance, sandwiched between a Table Dancing Club and a Turkish bazaar sets the tone for a hotel which does not quite make the tone. There is a modern lift, but this only services the half-landings, so is not suitable for anyone of reduced mobility or those with heavy suitcases. Our 'twin' room was too small to... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
