The hotel is situated in a beautiful part of Berlin - the Charlottenburg district. It's just round the corner from the wonderful boulevard Kurfurstendamm, and less than 5 minutes' walk from the bus stop of Olivaer Platz. However, to reach the centre like Alexanderplatz, one needs to walk to Savignyplatz (about 10 mins) and take the S-bahn. The hotel is... More

I love Berlin and been there several times. But I think I found my place to stay there. This is an old hotel, situated on Ku Damm shopping street. My first impression of this pension with which I fell in love was the elevator. Old type evevator where you must close the double doors by yourself. It's very slow and... More

We were not expecting such wonderful accommodation for the price. Where to begin... Firstly, the area is wonderful - big and safe, although 90% of shops are high-end shops, but it has lots of affordable restaurants and cafes. There is close public transport with the S-Bahn a 5-10min walk away. The man at reception was absolutely lovely to us upon... More

Good value for Money. The hotel is not very centrally located, at the far end of the Kurfürstendamm, but there is a U-bahn (metro) station at 10 minutes walk, and several buses quite close. The reception is friendly, and the breakfast (included in the room price) is quite good. We were a group of friends and got very different room... More

Great location and just a short walk to public transport (very easy to get around), the town is close by too and there are plenty of good choices to eat and not expensive. Very friendly and helpful staff especially at reception. An excellent choice at breakfast (buffet). Comfortable, clean and quiet. I shall definitely be returning to this hotel as... More

Hotel Kima is situated in a beautiful, safe, expensive area of Berlin. Self rated as two star you will certainly feel you are getting your money's worth. Cold buffet breakfast of cheeses, eggs, sausage, fruit and yogurt available from 7.30 to 9.30. This hotel has a variety of rooms (singles, twins, doubles, triples and quadruples) on the second and fourth... More

Great hotel, good place to stay in the more quiet area of the city. Its very close to the kurfürstendamm and public transportation. Rooms are big and the bathroom is okay. If you got here by car, make sure you park the nose of the car in the driving direction. There is a traffic rule that forbid you to park... More

The hotel is run by Russians. Good service and Russians are two things which do not go well together. I asked at the reception one evening for two glasses. After a minute I was given by the Russian lady at the reception two dusty glasses with the words :you can rinse them in your room". At the breakfast room two... More

I was looking for a cheap accommodation in Berlin just for a night before going to the airport when I saw this hotel. The location is great (just around the corner of one of the most important boulevard in Berlin); and communication with the hotel was great too... but when I arrived (9 pm more or less) I found the... I was here when Rail trade fair was in Berlin 22.9.-24.9. Nice room no 29, Breakfast at the 4th floor, average level. This is not hotel for rest at your business trip. This is hotel for asleep and relatively good situated. UBahn and SBahn almost close to 11 minutes by walking. I recommend for young people.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
