There is nothing fancy about this hotel. It lacks frills, good looks, and a nice lobby to sit in. On the other hand, what they do, they do extremely well, and you can't beat it for the money. It is clean, the rooms are quiet and spacious (I had one of the smallest rooms and it was bigger than some... more

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Kima along with some friends last weekend. We found the hotel very central and easy to find, due to our hectic schedule we only meet the reception staff on arrival. The staff were very friendly and informative and the also let us have our room at about 1030am on our day of... more

Stayed here for a weekend and really enjoyed my stay! Kima has a great central location, in a quiet side road just off Ku'damm! It is located in a stylish early 20th century building that comes with squeeking stairs and a lift that is as old as the building (an experience on its own) but no worries it operates just... more

Stayed three nights and encountered no problems at all. I found staff here when I arrived at 2345hrs. Staff were also here when I fancied a beer at 0100 (Kindle or Becks). Breakfast was the usual rolls, meats, cheese, jams and cereals but there were hot boiled eggs as well. I like my coffee with muscles on and I was... more

It's a great location and the people are very nice. But one night I tried to unlock the door to my room and it didn't work. I tried several times, then reluctantly looked around for a way to contact the manager. There's no staff at the front desk at night, but there is someone elsewhere in the building. I contacted... more

This small hotel is situated close to the Zoologischer Garten which is like the tourist hub of Berlin. The directions provided on on the booking site about how to reach the hotel were excellent and we reached the hotel without any difficulty. The breakfast is of excellent quality and quite sufficient. Going anywhere is not a problem at all as... more

This is a hotel in an old building right off the KuDamm in West Berlin. The hotel is old and is in serious need of a renovation. My single room was decent sized, with a comfortable double bed and high ceilings. The furniture consisted of a small nightstand, small TV stand with 13" TV, and a very small wooden desk... more

This hotel is excellent value for money in a very safe area, stayed there for four nights and were out quite late yet felt totally safe. The receptionist was extremely helpful with maps, information etc. The building is very old but the room was modern, clean, warm and very quiet at night. Its only a short walk to the nearest... more

I stayed there 3 nights. As everybody writes, personal is very friendly and helpful. Room is small but clean. What I did not like were location, noisy toilet and towel change. Pension is located little bit far away from the city center. It is possible to reach everywhere by bus easily but there is not so many restaurants around pension.... more

Centrally located, reasonably priced and scrupulously clean. The Hotel Kima is located on the second and fourth floors of an 1890s Beaux Arts building just off of Kurfürstendamm, in an area full of lively cafes and designer shops. Our room, number 14, was simple, but the bedding, furniture and bathroom fixtures were all new. The shower was hot with good... more
