Hotel pension has perfect location and it's weird that such a place is not so representative as it should be. Pension is really old, old almost everything in there. A little of investments would not be bad. Rooms are not so cool as on official pictures and breakfast.. hm what to say, the same things every morning (veryl lowcost breakfast).... More

Location: close to Kurfurstendamm Avenue and therefore close to boutiques (literally next door to Prada), mid-cost and expensive restaurants and night-life. The closest underground is approx 15 minutes walk away, but the walk is within a nice neighbourhood and is pleasant. The building is shared with other tenants, so you'd need to buzz into their reception so they can let... More

Small hotel pension We came across it for years through the globetrotter guide and stayed here now for the third time It is a simple yet decent hotel which definitely meets expectations as well as it offers a very fair value for money Location is quite good, corner to Kurfürstendamm close to the boutiques and not far from the zoologischer... the good: 1. location. not in the center center, but 5 ,minutes with a bus. Subway and Starbucks are around the corner. 2. big rooms the bad: 1. we stayed in the 4th floor, and we were outside of the WiFi range, so we had to go to the lobby and surf from there. also you have to enter a... More

I have stayed at this hotel with my family in the spring of 2015. The location of the hotel is unbeatable - right in the heart of Kudam. The house where the hotel is located (it takes 2-3 floors there) is charming old house with wooden starecases, elevator with wooden door and side pannels, marble in the lobby. Very stylish.... More

The hotel is situated in a beautiful part of Berlin - the Charlottenburg district. It's just round the corner from the wonderful boulevard Kurfurstendamm, and less than 5 minutes' walk from the bus stop of Olivaer Platz. However, to reach the centre like Alexanderplatz, one needs to walk to Savignyplatz (about 10 mins) and take the S-bahn. The hotel is... More

I love Berlin and been there several times. But I think I found my place to stay there. This is an old hotel, situated on Ku Damm shopping street. My first impression of this pension with which I fell in love was the elevator. Old type evevator where you must close the double doors by yourself. It's very slow and... More

We were not expecting such wonderful accommodation for the price. Where to begin... Firstly, the area is wonderful - big and safe, although 90% of shops are high-end shops, but it has lots of affordable restaurants and cafes. There is close public transport with the S-Bahn a 5-10min walk away. The man at reception was absolutely lovely to us upon... More

Good value for Money. The hotel is not very centrally located, at the far end of the Kurfürstendamm, but there is a U-bahn (metro) station at 10 minutes walk, and several buses quite close. The reception is friendly, and the breakfast (included in the room price) is quite good. We were a group of friends and got very different room... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
