Great location just beside Kurfurstendamm. The hotel is like a very big apartment. Can be very noisy thou to the young public. This room was in need of a big clean up, kind of dirty carpet etc.The breakfast was allright och so was the price. Recommended for perople on a tight budget and don´t want to stay in a youthhostel.

Location was great, very near train station, shops, bars, restaurants all within easy walking distance. Very comfortable room, plenty for breakfast, overall good value for money, only comment was sometimes the shower was cold.

In an old building close to Kurfürstendam you will find this hotel on the first floor. With a wooden squeaking stair the first impression is not the best. Don't be afraid, remember that this is not luxury, but a place to sleep. I had a single room that could have been a bit bigger. They had managed to put in... More

This is and old apartment block where some of the floors are turned into a hotel. The reception is on first floor, and getting three people and suitcases in the tine period elevator (anno 1904) was a challenge. However, rooms were modernised, and beds and bathrooms very good. Our room was 41, facing the sun from noon until sundown. This... More

Location is the only good thing about this "hotel".Floor creaks everywhere you walk.Pictures from the rooms were not from our "tripleroom".It was terrible.Paint was cracking in build-in frames, bathroom was very small, just one little wardrobe for clothers. Communication with staff was difficult if you don't speak German. Ladys were ok and helpfull but the man was like from other planet.... More

Location is excellent. Close to shopping and dining areas. About 5-minute walk to train station. Hotel is very basic, it's ideal for someone looking for a place to spend the night. It's clean, but again very basic. No services are offered other than breakfast in the morning and room cleaning service once a day. The hotel has no restaurant or... More

Hotel Astrid is rather a pension than a hotel. It is located in the beautiful area, full of high street shops, elegant restaurants and is extremely well connected to the public transports. However, the beauty of the area vanishes as soon as you cross the threshold of the building. The first impression is entering the Adam's Family house...dark and aged.... More

We stayed at Hotel Astrid for 4 nights this August. We arrived very late at night and my initial reaction was not very positive. The dark entry way and poorly lit hallways were not inviting. However, the room, although small, was immaculate and very comfortable. The next morning, we realized how nice everything was. Breakfast is very good and the... More

Great place to stay for a few days in Berlin. Quiet nice street off Kudamm. Close to U-Bahn, S-Bahn, buses. One minute from the bus to the airport. Nice restaurants and jazz club (A-Trane) nearby. Friendly staff.
