I spent 4 nights at the hotel and would certainly recommend it. The hotel isn't in a central location but with Berlin's excellent public transport it is easy to get to. Get Tram M5 from Alexanderplatz to Freienwalder Strasse (approximately a 20 minute journey) and then a 2 minute walk down the street and you wil be at the hotel.... more

Booked through europeandestinations.com. This was a very nice hotel with a good breakfast and clean rooms. It is right near a major street where you can reach the tram, but it is a 15-20 minute tram ride to the nearest metro, to then get to downtown Berlin. For those not wanting to stay in city center, this is a great... more

This hotel is small, but very beautiufl. Rooms are a little small, but are quite clean and comfortable. Buffet breakfast is very good. In 2 minutes you are in the tram stop (every 10 minutes) and in 15 minutes you reach Alexanderplatz, where you can go walking to some attractions or take the subway (not more than 30 minutes) to... more

We went for a very cheap break (flights only £40 return for 2) so was looking for a very cheap place to stay that wouldn't ruin our stay. This hotel did this and more. Only £26 per night for a double. Basic spec but very clean, and had TV, double glazed window with view of TV Tower, good heating, and... more

This Hotel is as described on the website. My mother and I visited in November 2007 for a 5 day trip and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The staff are very friendly and their English was very good, however it helped I spoke a little German as some colloquial phrases are not understood. It is not as central as described although there... more

The staff were all polite, helpful and friendly even when translation was a problem. We cannot fault them. Our room was a twin, but the two beds were joined together and crammed into an alcove under a sloping roof, a bit of a problem if you wanted the loo at night. The only windows were skylights and they opened near... more

We have just returned from a four day break in Berlin. This hotel was a great find. We have to travel on a tight budget and require little from a hotel as we see it as simply a base from which to explore. However it would be unfair to describe this hotel as simply that. Its location is a bit... more

I stayed here with my Mum for 5 nights, to see the Christmas markets. We booked the hotel through bookings and got a really great deal, that included breakfast., it is great breads, meats eggs, cheeses, cereals and juices (multi-vitamin juice is a must) and it will set you up for a days sight seeing. The room was big and... more

The room overall is small but clean. There are separate beds for a double room. There is a shower, toilet and hair dryer in the room but they do not have soap or shampoo, so make sure you bring your own. The room has a TV with satellite channels, incl. British CNN and BBC. Breakfast is not included but recommended... more
