We had a small apartment on the top floor for a 4 day New Years getaway. The apartment was of a great size with great facilities such as fridge, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, hob, microwave, hairdryer, TV and DVD player. The shower was amazing and we had a comfortable sleep - although the pillows are terrible!!!! It's location is great... More

Wife and I spent 6 days in Berlin first time in October after a mediterranean cruise. We took a taxi from Tegel airport to Arcona that costs only Euro 17. It is a modern, very clean apartment with a fully equipped kitchenette that includes microwave, cutlery, pots, dishes, dishwashing detergent etc. It may sound funny but in Europe not all... More

In a perfect location, just 2 minutes walking from Zoologischer Garten station and in a quiet beautiful street, this is one of the best options in Berlin. Confortable rooms with kitchen equipmen, great showers, not fancy but very clean with classic and warm atmosphere. Moreover, on the same road there several coffee shops and breakfast points. Would visit again!!

As mentioned earlier this hotel is more of an apartment complex than a hotel. That said the room was spacious with a kitchenette including a hot plate, microwave and coffee maker. The bathroom was large and had a very powerful shower. Housekeeping was not included, but could be arranged for 14 euros per day, but how hard is it to... More

Well designed and fully equipped apartment. Superb location with subway available. Supermarkets nearby. Parks nearby as well as the zoo and aquarium. Beautiful cafes and all kinds of shops. It would be better if they have aircondition option during summers.

This is a great place to stay for business or pleasure. Very competent and friendly staff, fully equipped apartments, in a great location just 10 minutes walk from Zoo station. Good value too. A supermarket is located beside Zoo, so it's very convenient for getting essentials.

It is difficult to really call the Goethe87 a hotel. They are more like very cool apartments, since there is hardly a lobby area, just one restaurant and no room service. But the rooms are super spacious, sleek, and chic with state of the art fittings - we loved the floor to ceiling humongous glass doors with a cool motorized... More

We stayed for 3 nights at 617€, no breakfast, no cleaning. The room was spacious with kitchenette, extremely spartan. The deal was 14€ extra each day we wanted the room cleaned, and 14€ extra in case we wanted breakfast. Breathing was for free...The room was clean, pillows were too soft for our liking, heating was adequate. The only plus of... More

The appartment like hotel is nice in terms of room size and cleanniness, however be aware if you plan to check in after 23hrs that they do not have front desk service and you will need and access code to get your key. Also if you do not speak German you are in trouble. The written instructions you receive with... More

The appartments are large and stylish: modern fueniture. The kitchen has everything you would need. We chose it because we were celebrating x-mas in Berlin and during x-mas eve and x-mas day everything closes. We had an adorable night on our own without having the need to spend lots of money in a famcy restaurant. The rooms are so large,... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
