When we arrived at this hotel, our first impression was that this hotel was a bit worn. Checked in at an area that was a combination of a reception and a cafeteria. Our room, located at 6'th floor was nice and clean. Had a view to an apartment building to the left, an office building to the right. A few... More

My expectation of the place was an aparthotel not a full scale 4star hotel, and the place met expectations fully. Excellent location, beautiful big windows and very spacious rooms. Much better experience than standard hotel. It also has free internet. On the downside the reception is not available 24/7 and neighbors from other buildings have full view of the room... More

I made a mistake when I booked the hotel. I booked 4 nights instead of 3 at a non-refundable rate. I realized that after 5 minutes, and called the hotel. Talked with a nice lady who said "no problem", and it was possible to change that. To make sure everything was OK, I called a month later, and another nice... More

This would be a 2.5 hotel based on normal standards. The problema is that I booked a 4 star hotel through Hotwire and got Goethe 87. I really don´t know how they managed to be on the 4 star Hotwire range. Hotwire is not any more what it used to be and now on days you get lots of surprises... More

We stayed here with a toddler and the large room made the stay so much more convenient compared to a normal hotel. The breakfast contains all the variety you normal expect at a 4star hotel only of better quality as it's freshly made in a small kitchen. Staff was really helpful and the babybed was placed before arrival. A large... More

We had a fantastic few nights stay, exceptional, clean rooms. The kitchenette was extremely well equipped and had everything we needed and more. We arrived a day late and were warmly welcomed and had a fantastic recommendation for a local restaurant to eat at (Dicke Wirten, well worth a visit). Couldn't have asked for a better stay, thank you very... More

This is a relatively small apartment -hotel, located off Goethestrabe which is a quiet street just off the main thoroughfare of Hardenbergstrabe. The location is relatively convenient to the U2 subway line and also just off the route of the X9 bus that runs from Tegel airport to Zoologischer gardens. The location is more accessible to the west of Berlin... More

perfect apartment hotel in the Charlottenburg area of Berlin. Studio modern, very clean, had everything required, comfortable bed, fantastic shower, cute working area and excellent kitchenette. Receptionist was extremely helpful and the breakfast was also amazing in its variety and quality. Great area for night wandering, bars, restaurants inhabited by locals. The only downside was dogs weren't allowed in the... More

Spacious well equipped studio apartment close to Zoologischer Garten Bahnhof. Very clean, really good bathroom with fantastic shower. Short walk to Ku Damm and other shops and facilities. The breakfasts looked very good but we did not have anything to eat there.

After some trouble finding the hotel (this was my own fault, I guess I struggle with the german way of marking the roads), I finally found Goethe87. I came kinda off season, so there was no waiting, and my room was available upon arrival. My room/apartment was really fantastic, with my own kitchenette, a walk-in closet, and a really great... Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
