Very clean, comfortable accommodations. Curtious staff. Centrally located. Our second, and not our last stay in this hotel. If you are lucky enough to get a room with a tub, you will enjoy the size of it!

From the look of its outside you wouldn't think this hotel has a room with this own living area,a kitchen with its dining table and a big clean bathroom!! Believe me when I tell you it has all of the above and then some; like laundry service, wonderful hallways with classical music playing, etc. I enjoyed my stay and the... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in lovely one bed apartment on 4th floor. Kitchen was well equipped with microwave, fridge and stove - however not much cooking was done on our trip :) Bedroom was separate from lounge area. Lounge had comfortable sofa with coffee table and separate area with table for dinning. Balcony was great bonus as we... More

The hotel room in general is as to be expected based on photos and online description. Having a kitchen and balcony is a nice extra which most hotels don't offer. Breakfast was pretty standard. Our main complaint was the internet and how the staff dealt with us. Obviously there are more important things involved in a trip to a beautiful... More

The hotel itself is just fine, the room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the location was good. However, we found the staff to be quite dishonest with us. When we arrived in our room we tried to sign in to the wifi but it didn't work, we asked the front desk agent for assistance and he came... More

It was a small suite (room with sink and microwave, and a balcony). It is Ok for a short stay. Location is fine to take public transport at working time, but for early departures to airport it would be by cab. Cleaning is not the best but acceptable, however it is dusty area, and the cleaning schedule of the hotel... More

The hotel has a great location and is pretty close to Kuchstrasse subway station, and relatively close to Stadtmitte. The reception is open 24 hours and the staff was really nice. The apartment had a good bathroom, comfortable bed, efficient air conditioning, refrigerator and microwave, and we were very well installed. Wi-Fi is available for 1 Euro / device /... More

Stayed in Mondrian Suites for 6 days, the location was fine, close to several u-bahn stations and you still can get to many tourist attractions by foot (like museum island, checkpoint charlie, topography of terror, etc...) The room was extremely small, useful only for sleeping there, and that's pretty enough if you are into discovering this wonderful city. The cleaning... More

Ideal place to base yourself for a visit to Berlin. Built on no-man's land in West Berlin, the area is developing nicely. Local shops Lidl. Not far from Check Point Charlie. A 10 min walk from the U6 and U2 underground lines. Remember to buy the BerlinWelcomeCardABC when you land at the airport!

The location of this apartment hotel is steps away from Checkpoint Charlie. Very nice and big suite with a big bathroom. Walk in shower with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Molton Brown amenities. The bed was a bit firm but otherwise very good. Plenty of closet space. The TV was on a revolving shelf so you could... More

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighborhood Profile
Kreuzberg
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighborhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and 60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and 90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighborhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
