The hostel is quite large with a nice lobby area and kitchen. It's also in a great location, across from an s-bahn and u-bahn station and 2 minutes walk to a Lidl. It's also easy to walk to Schloss Charlottenburg (only 20 minutes). Very cheap. Not much else to say, nothing super great or bad about this hostel.

Given how cheap it is here you cannot expect much in terms of facilities and comfort but it does the job. Much more potential here than what it is and for a few reasons. The location is excellent. 70 metres from the S-Bahn which serves all main stops, in fact you can see it from the station. 5 minute walk... More

The hostel itself is a little dated, but can't expect much when you're paying such cheap prices. The staff however are very friendly, and the reception is always open - which was handy as we arrived at 2am. Unfortunately, we couldn't check-in to our hostel room for that night despite having paid for it, so had to wait until around... More

Firstly I need to say that this hostel is definitely worth what you pay for. My friend and I stayed here for five nights and paid just over €8 a night, so if you are on a budget I definitely recommend this place. However, it is not the best hostel in the world. The main issue was that there was... More

The place is mostly a hotel with electronic cards and everything. The kitchen is not fully equipped but good enough to survive, but you can't use it for half of the day while they serve breakfast and you can't use the fridge unless you pay extra. The staff was friendly and helpful. The common area is fine but not really... More

in my opinion the best thing from thios hostel it's the buffet breakfast because the price is good and you can eat good food. the neighboorhoood is good, it has many offers of restaurants, pubs, shooping, parks, coffes and interesting places. The quality-price is normal and the service is nothing special. About bad points i can say that the building... More

I stayed here for 2 nights but booked the third night too to allow me to leave in the evening with no pressure. As a hostel, i gave it 5* as it did what I had to do: offer me a comfortable stay , clean shared showers and WiFi all over. That's what I needed and that's what I got.... More

It was my first experience staying in a hostel, and I guess I choose a good one. This has a lot of advantage being close to the Charlottenberg S-Bhan station. The rooms have the basic requirement and amenities.. U have free wifi, a good help desk and clean rooms.. U get to meet a lot of nice people. I had... More

Good place for travellers on a budget. Located 10min from city center by train, and is opposite a station. Affordable refreshments at reception and lots of info on things to do in Berlin such as sightseeing tours.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Only ONE toilet on our floor, located in the same room as 2 showers so if someone is showering with the door locked you have to go down a level and use another one. We were instructed not to fry any food, which was extremely inconvenient and made the kitchen virtually useless, all you can... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
