We stayed in the studio apartment for 5 nights. We arrived late at night but the manager provided great instructions for getting to the apartment (which is not exactly very easy to find at night) including photos of the key locker and access. The manager picked up the contract a few days after so we did not even have to... More

Can't fault this apartment in any way it had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Location was great with easy access for buses and trains. There are loads of restaurants on the doorstep and one that does fantastic breakfasts and brunches.

We arrived here just after Christmas in time for the renowned Berlin New Year celebrations. The apartment is very easy to get to from Berlin Schoenefeld Airport and just a short 8 - 10 minute walk from Warschauer Street station, a good location if you want to see the longest surviving stretch of the Berlin Wall in situ. The apartment is... More

Location is the word - many bars, restaurants and coffee shops around, still quiet and peaceful area. On the other hand - it takes 10 minutes of fast walk from the nearest U station. Within the apartment there are big rooms, small bathroom, and reasonable kitchen. The WiFi connection is not consistent and not strong enough. The apartment was clean... More

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighborhood Profile
Friedrichshain
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
