I went to Berlin on April 2015 I found on Venere a special offer for a triple room included breakfast + tax for four days (from 18th to 21st April included). The Hotel is nice, very clean, the receptionists are very kind and you can reach easily the subway (about 250 meters) to go in 10-15 minutes to Alexanderplatz! The... More

We spent just one night here, before flying home. Very convenient to the metro system (maybe 5 minute walk). As others have noted, the wifi is a bit flaky. Sometimes it worked ok, other times not at all for hours at a time. Bedds were fairly comfortable. Room was clean, and fairly quiet (not facing the street though). Front desk... More

This hotel is situated in a great area, don't get me wrong. I think I paid a little more than I should have. They definitely made it feel budget (lighting in hotel turns on and off as you pass by them, on a slight delay, makes the place feel haunted a bit haha. I was stuck on an end of... More

A lovely Russian-style hotel in a lively neighborhood. Staff was super friendly. Everything worked or if it didn't it was made to work :). Nice price and even nicer quality. Would definitely recommend to stay here. Breakfast was nice also (though a bit overpriced in my opinion).

We stayed here for five days over new year. There are numerous bars and restaurants in the area, providing you with a range of different options for dining. The hotel was very warm, with a well appointed bedroom and bathroom. If I was here on business I am not sure that the Business Centre comprising of a small settee, chair... More

I really enjoyed sleeping there. The staff is very nice and helpful. The location is excellent... right next to allot of restaurants,... More

This was a fantastic hotel, could not fault for service or cleanliness. It was perfectly placed for our trip as we were going to a concert at the nearby Astra Kulturhaus in Revaler Strasse. It was also very easy to negotiate into the rest of Berlin.

Well presented, great location for exploring Kreuzeberg and Friedrichshain areas. Short walk to station and easy transport to main attractions. Only gripe is that instead of a queen size bed as advertised we ended up with 2 singles pushed together, covered by 2 single duvet sheets! This is apparently standard practice in Germany so best to ask in advance for... More

stayed here for 2 weeks recently and had picked the hotel based on location as Freidrichshain is my favourite area in Berlin. The hotel was excellent particularly the very helpfull reception and level of cleanliness. The room was large and bright on the 4th floor with a view to a courtyard. EASY to keep cool even without air con and... More

Nice hotel, 4 stars, rooms were very clean and tidy, breakfast was fine. It is not hard to arive there from airport. Take TXL bus to Alexander platz, there find a metro station (line U5, direction Honow), and the fourth station is Frankfurter tor. Go out and it will take you only few minutes to enter into the hotel.

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighborhood Profile
Friedrichshain
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
