I have stayed at this hotel three times and have always been impressed. The rooms are clean and simply decorated. The breakfast is very good. The only thing I was disappointed in was the fact that they no longer supply coffee and tea within the room.

The good- location is excellent to use as a base. Ku'damm is five minutes walk away and both the S and U Bahn stations are less than a minute away. The breakfast is plentiful, with boiled eggs and hot dogs supplementing the usual cheeses and cold meats (a special mention should go to the hardworking woman who makes sure everything... More

Our room was clean and breakfast was bigger than we expected (eggs, jams, different breads, a few types of salami, cheese..). There is a shopping street very closeby and Berlin cith center is easily reachable by metro or train from the stations across the street.

Stayed here for one week. Me and my two friends were given a room with three beds, but the first room we got only had two beds. In the second room, there was a sofa which could be modified to be a bed. However, all the bed linen and towels of the third person were missing and we had to... More

Booked 2 nights at the last minute and got a triple room, last room available, they said. Ultimately when I showed up, they gave me a single room, which was Ok but I never was refunded. The Hotel is clean, the service is Ok, the location perfect if your are going to the Messe (2 train stations) but a bit... More

Besides renovated rooms, hotel has also old style rooms/studios with whole floor carpets and mini kitchen. That kind rooms were not mentioned at all on booking.com web site. No pictures. Only modern renovated ones. We complained about that. The hotel was full booked and we had to stay one night in carpet floor-room. The receptionist told us, we had to... More

A very clean and pleasant hotel. The single room I had was spacious, cleaned regularly and a powerful shower. Ideally suited if you are travelling the city by U or S bahn. Make sure you have breakfast which easily sets you up for the day. The wifi connection isn't great but you can use the laptop in reception, and if... More

Great for a base to explore Berlin. Across the way from Charlottenburg S-bahn station & around corner from Wilmersdorf U-bahn station. Shops & bars/ eateries on doorstep. Clean, basic accommodation with varied, filling breakfast. Safe enough area with residential properties around & 24 hour businesses.

We choosed this hotel because of the location between Messe Berlin and center of the city, and the very low price (€50 per night). The room was OK, clean and nice, the rest of the areas very old. The breakfast was minimal, but it had egg and fresh bread, so we survived.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
