Amazing location, room was very clean and confortable. Staff were always helpful (except in the breakfast area, where someone was very rude with me when I asked something). Anyway, if you're going to berlin and are looking for a good place and fair price, that's the hotel.

The air con is unbelievable. The receptionist tried to explain in broken English that the system itself decides what air it will pump out so no matter what temperature you set in the room it blows hot air. The room was unbearable even with the window left open all night and day with curtains shut. I was dumbfounded that nothing... More

We stayed at the holiday inn this weekend. Check in was excellent, really friendly staff on arrival and they noted our requests of a high floor (based on trip advisor tips) and an early check in, which was much appreciated. The room was really clean and an ok size. The beds were 2 singles pushed together with two separate duvets.... More

i booked a trip away for a few days in april 2015 for me and the other half and found the hotel average to be honest. It was clean and close to alexanderplatz so no complaints on location. Breakfast was nice too. However, when asking for a double room, we were given a twin. The hotels answer was simply to... More

stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. it was easy to find this place, and it is just 8 to 10 mins walk from primark and most of the shopping centres. the room was clean but small, and if you have not opted for the breakfast option, you'll have to pay an extra 16 euros for breakfast. the hotel is... The hotel is located just two minutes walk from Alexander Platz which means easy access to public transportation. We arrived by car and had to park at the Q-Park which was rather expensive. Our room was very nice and tidy. Rather big but not much storage for your clothes. The room was cleaned daily and the service at the reception... More

Right next to Alexanderplatz, this is ideally located to reach a number of areas of Berlin, as well as being conveniently located for the train station taking you out to the airport. For a Holiday Inn, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the rooms (even with the odd glass doored showers and toilets), but they have made good... More

I went with my girlfriend and the begining of the spring. First time un Berlin and the location is incredible, just a few minutes (5~10) to Alexanderplatz. The rooms are small but full equiped, the service is great and the breakfast is good. If this is your first time un Berlin, this is a great option.

Location is just unique, tram runs next to it, alexanderplatz station is a few meters a way. Hotel beautiful, great breakfast. If you like spacious rooms, not for you, they're just the right size and nice, you can even pick your type of pillow. Excelente price for what you get.

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
