We spent four nights in this very comfy and spotlessly clean hotel . The staff were very efficient, good command of English and very helpful. The room while not large was fine for a short stay. The hotel served a very good continental style breakfast but unfortunately the hot selection looked very unappetising. Dinner was available in the adjacent Hotel... More

Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in a business trip. The hotel is clean and tidy and the service is good, but the rooms are quite small and claustrophobic. There is no dedicated restaurant and therefore no room service which is a bit of a shame. The adjacent hotel has the bar/restaurant and gym. Breakfast is quite limited and... More

Friendly, quick and efficient check-in. Arrived early and fortunately my room was available. Had previously requested a quiet room and it certainly was. Pleased with the free wi-fi availability. Would definitely recommend. As this was my 7th visit to Berlin I wanted to visit places of interest "off the beaten track". I went to four abandoned buildings that are definitely... More

Right at the center of Alexanderplatz close to the S-Bahn and U-Bahn and ofcourse the iconic TV Tower. The room was very comfortable, bed too was also very comfortable . Staff were extremely friendly and helped me out with directions! The WiFi was alright but since it was free I didn't mind the slower speed however I disliked the pillows... More

We stayed at this hotel once and it is at a great location. Local transportation is within walking distance and the rooms are very comfortable and a good size. The staff is very friendly and very service minded. Something not automatically in Germany.

Just booked with this hotel, was served by Theresia Reul, a fantastic member of staff. Has really looked after us and made the booking process very pleasant and was extremely polite, courteous and helpful. Looking forward to staying in July!

I am Spanish and i have 2 surnames but the reservation should be on my first surname. I informed the hotel few times but they didnt do anything. I had to received a package which... More

We stayed at this hotel for a business trip and the experience was very negative about the treatment that gave us the reception staff . They caused us many problems rejecting a packet sent to our attention to the hotel. We warned repeatedly that it was important for us to receive it, but every morning the reception staff repeatedly rejected... More

Stayed here for 2 nights in January 2015. The room size is great. The beds were extremely comfy and the view was quite good too. It's about a 10 minute walk to the nearest tube station and shopping centre. There's a local shop just around the corner which sells drinks, snacks etc. The breakfast was amazing! The staff were really... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
