The staff where all very curtious and friendly. The room was clean and tidy but there is no chest of drawers to put clothes etc in so everything is in full view of cleaning staff. We only had 2 coat hangers in the wardrobe when we arrived but this was soon fixed for us. Every night when we came back... More

The hotel is nice situated in Alexanderplatz which has good links to Berlin. Station is very close by so is nice restaurants. Our room was clean comfortable and of a fair size nice modern decor tea/coffee included. Nice tv not many english channels some news though like bbc world. Good location being near the Alexanderplatz train station and sightseeing tour bus stops. Breakfast buffet was good but got busy towards the end of the session. The rooms are quite modern and very light. The reception appeared under staffed in the evening. The connected Hotel Indigo next door has a good bar and restaurant although the menu is limited.

I stayed in this hotel with my boyfriend having previously stayed in a hostel round the corner, knowing that Alexanderplatz had great links to the rest of Berlin. Once again, this was the case, The station is so close and there are loads of nice restaurants within walking distance (and no I don't mean the obvious touristy traps) if you... More

Lovely hotel, in a good location next to one of the main areas with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. The staff are lovely at the desk and helped with our bags when we had to leave them. Would definitely stay there again

I visited Berlin for the Carnival and this hotel was in the perfect location. Hotel staff were lovely, friendly and exceptionally helpful. Any issues that we had were dealt with immediately. The breakfast was good but had to be paid for separately. I would have preferred to pay more with a complimentary breakfast every day. The hotel was in close... More

Stayed here for a long weekend for the Berlin beer festival, room prices were good and the rooms were clean. Modern decor and air conditioning which we needed with the 38 degree heat! Well situated for all Berlin has to offer and let's face it, you should be spending as little time as possible when in this great city worrying... More

Hotel staff were incredibly helpful, friendly and polite. The room was perfect, comfy beds, lovely bathroom, fresh bottled water every day. Just a few minutes from Alexanderplatz so location was brill. Can not fault this hotel - we even got our Berlin Welcome Card from them, again the receptionist was incredibly helpful. Would recommend this hotel to anyone, perfect base... More

It is very close to Alexandar Platz, where there many shops and Restaurants. The room was small by elegant and modern, so is the bathroom. There is a parking space next to hotel, but it is by the hour. Internet was good. It is very convenient to metro and O do recommend it.

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
