We spent almost a week experiencing Berlin and this was an excellent place to do it from. The hotel offers free wifi, but you need to collect a new password at the front desk once every 24 hours. We chose a room with a bathtub - a blessing for tired feet after lots and lots of walking every day -... More

We stayed at the Q for a long weekend and really enjoyed it. The staff were so friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The room was really clean and comfortable and quiet with the window closed. Breakfast was amazing with hot food cooked to order which was great. The buffet was lovely and again nothing was too... Initially we were going to stay just 5 days at this hotel in january, but as we ended up completely thrilled by its service, location and infrastructure, we stayed almost 15 days in the end! Employees are friendly, respecful and helpful at all times. The architecture is something like a 60s-70s style, the rooms are fully equiped, totally clean and... More

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. First impressions were very good. Friendly helpful staff on reception and a nice airy room. Free wifi in hotel but you have to ask for a new code every 24 hours. We decided against a bathtub room so we had a shower instead which had see through doors looking towards the bed... More

Great place. I loved the bathtub in the room. Very clean room. Bathrobes available from reception. Good high speed internet. Short train ride away from city centre. Friendly hotel staff. Iphone docking station in room. Negatives are- you need to ask for different wifi log in details every day of your stay, the bathtub room doesnt offer much privacy (clear... More

the hotel is modern. the room is "stylisch" and quiet - you don't hear the hotel room neighbours. in the room there is some black strips on the walls - I do think they could be easily removed. It allways smells nice in the house. If you change close in the room you have to close the curtains because the... More

Stayed here 3 nights for the ITB trade fair. Location: just steps from Kurfürstendamm, close to where the livelyhood is. Very modern hotel, nice room, excellent shower. Breakfast is good, scrambled eggs not in the buffet but will be served. Personally i think they should not put a DJ there who is mixing samples with the lounge music. Staff is... More

Really great hotel. "Quirky" - by that I mean it isn't your average square-box type place. Although bits of it are in need of a little TLC it is still really FANTASTIC. Staff are extra extra helpful. Make sure you use the Spa facilities - ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT. Perfect for relaxing after a day's sight-seeing. We had room 401 with a... More

We stayed at hotel Q during our first trip to berlin, the reception staff were extremely helpful and gave us top quality recommendations and advice on what and what not to do, each evening the staff assisted us in choosing an appropriate restaurant to satisfy and meet our needs. Every single one of these restaurants provided us with a thoroughly... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
