I like this hotel because of its location :) Inside it was normal hostel.. rooms are very simple but nice and new. Little disadvantage is that you dont have any kitchen and you have to pay for the lockers..

The hostel's bar has an awesome alternative mood, the kind of place I like to go to whenever I go out with my friends. It also promotes people to talk to each other and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Loved the rooms with big lockers and the shower is really good (temperature/pressure are nice and you don't have... More

Great location, quiet area, clean rooms and very good price for money. No towels in room which I did not anticipate so had to purchase and there was no heating in the room. Would however stay there again as for the price you can't beat it.

Slept for 3 nights in the first floor, you hear lot of noise coming from other people's rooms. Very difficult to sleep at last. The bed was not very comfortable. Staff nice and always helpful. I would not return

Had a great stay, and the staff were great and able to help me out with directions and answering other questions that I had. The courtyard remained noisy for most of the night, and because it was hot I had to leave the window open so it would have been nice if the noise levels had been monitored however it... More

Nice location, quiet area, therefore we had a quiet rest. Rooms are nice and beds clean. On the corridor (besides shared shower rooms) there are bathrooms with an individual shower inside, which can be locked from the inside for full privacy. Very nice and helpful staff.

If you search for a hostel to have some rest during sightseeing, I can recommend this hostel. Pretty close to the main railway station. The dorms are okay, nothing special, but quite clean. They offer tea and coffee during all day, which is nice (especially in the winter). The staff is really helpful and nice, special thanks for the Hungarian... More

i came from Berlin Hbf at midnight. since i am not familiar with german transport, i went to the hostel by walking. and definitely it's not a good idea. the hostel is quite far from the central station, but it's close from the S bahn station. the building was not so easy to find, but it's still close. the hostel... Overall service was nice. Rooms itself were clean and easy to sleep in. Breakfast - even though 4€ only had coffee, bread, ham, yogurt and mysli with no juice or eggs. Wifi only works in bar/lounge. Kitchen is nifty and remote. My room had malfunctioning toilet which didnt get fixed during stay. Bar had sometimes cash-only policy and nearest atm... More

Cheap drinks, good atmosphere most of the bar / reception staff were friendly. A friend & I had a private room so can't really rate the actual dormitories but from people I met they said they was fine for moneys worth. Close to two train stations and the city, if I came back to Berlin I would stay here without... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
