Stayed here for one night during a short business trip to Berlin. Situated in a quite boring area of Berlin, near KaDeWe, and a lots of other hotels. I had a very luxurious room. It was spacious and really nice. The room had minibar, a 40 " TV and complimentary tea and coffee. The breakfast was good, but it was... More

I recommend Golden Tulip Hotel in Berlin. It is very central, walking distance to the main shopping area (7 mins) We went for the New Year s celebrations at Brandenburg Gate on foot (15mins) which was fine as the traffic was not functioning normal. We were amazed at the strict security to enter the celebrations area, which put our minds... More

Hotel is a good 4 star hotel with rooms above average size and very clean. Service is good and friendly. Breakfast is a reasonable buffet. In the winter (cooler periods) it can get crowded at peak moment when there is no overflow to the terrace. Location is a very quiet street a few blocks from the zoo and the Emperor... More

This hotel in Tiergarten is perfect for visiting Ku-damm, KaDeWe und so weiter. It's a bit far for walking to Checkpoint Charley, Brandenburger Tor and the adjacent shopping malls, but a € 10 taxi ride will get you there. Rooms are nice and quiet, wifi is working good. Breakfast is excellent and very varied. Dinner is good but a bit... More

The hotel is located in a nice but not very central area. Architecturally it is rather unimpressive. My room was clean but rather small, while the bed was very comfortable. The wifi was good, the price reasonable, the staff friendly and helpful and the breakfast excellent. All in all a quite good experience.

The hotel was smart and well presented upon arrival, friendly staff who spoke english, which was a help as my german isn't great. The room was of a decent size with a small double bed in, which is plenty of room for one person. The shower was lovely and powerful which is hard to find in hotels. The only down... More

I stayed here for a work trip. The hotel was incredible inflexible. I added a extra night because of a last minute on travel connections the day before arrival and then cancelled it 2 hours later because I found another way. Oops - within three days an 80% canx fee applies. And guess what no manager at the hotel to... More

We stayed during the Berlin Marathon weekend. The hotel was fully booked. The Staff were very friendly upon check in, accommodating my dog as well and helpful with recommendations to restaurants The location of the hotel is fantastic for exploring Berlin.

This hotel is located in an unofficial hotel district in Berlin, about a 10 minute walk to the U-bahn subway station, and a 10 minute walk to the S-bahn suburban rail. Both are handy to have nearby: one to go downtown, and the other to head out to sites like Potsdam (15 minutes away). It is also near where the... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
