It was the "welcome home" from the doorman that made me feel immediately feel like home. I have been now every year in this hotel and as long as I will visit Berlin this will be the hotel that I will stay in. The staff is extremely friendly and make sure that everything is taking care of. The beds are... More

This is close to being my favourite business hotel ever. From the "welcome home" greeting from the doorman to the ever smiling staff. The sumptuous guest rooms are simply wonderful. A hotel as they all should be, well located, well appointed and well staffed.

Being right in front of the Sony Centre & Potsdamer Platz is a big big plus. Location as such could not be better. I stayed in a Junior suite which was quite big and had a separate living room, however must state the rooms are outdated and need a facelift. The club lounge was terrific with excellent service and a... More

Beds and pillows are extremely soft, giving a strange "sinking" feeling. Wi fi is expensive and the free one at the lobby is slow. No cable tv and no tv in the bathroom, just satellite. The mineral water is not listed at the mini bar catalogue so i supposed its free but actually they charge me 7,5 euros per plastic... More

This hotel has everything you would expect from a Ritz. Very comfortable, great staff, etc etc. However, as a tourist, the location is so-so. It's near a lot, but also not really. The big reason for my 3/5 is as a Marriott Platinum member, and the RC relationship w/Marriott, I expected more from my stay - you get no breakfast,... More

The name Ritz Carlton tell you a great deal. This one is more of a business oriented Ritz. This is a very reasonably priced Ritz. Modern technology in the rooms. The downside is that there is no spa or hotel car. The upside is awesome location and Ritz service, and AmEx upgrades. It is close to both airports and walking... More

Great hotel in a prime location. The staff is very friendly and will take good care of you. Ask for a room facing the Zoo. Tiergarten park. Well appointed guestrooms with touchscreen control. Marble bathrooms with premium amenities. Not cheap but worth it.

The hotel is located a few blocks from the Brandenburg Gate and is in a newly developed area of Berlin (where West Berlin met East Berlin) . That said I didn't find the hotel particularly special and it seemed to have a lot of Tour Groups in when I stayed. The lobby is small and crowded, the restaurants and bar... More

I went for work in this Hotel so the pricing for the convention was great, and the hote had nice servicing and food. It also had great location 😃. I would recommend the hotel for families as well as it has the "ritz kids" and a teen concierge. Breakfast was also a nice treat :).

Great hotel, with nice rooms and very friendly staff willing to help. Breakfast area is great. I had a room on the 8th floor with a bath and shower and a great bed. The view in my room was not that great (looking at a large office building). Note: If you like a modern decorated hotel, you should not take... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
