We had a family room, for 3 adults and it was the perfect size. It is close to the U-Bahn station Samariterstrasse which gives you easy access around the city. Great for a cheap and cheerful city break.

Hotel is in a fairly pleasant residential city street several stops on the U5 from Alexanderplatz. Also quite convenient to Frankfurter Alle for S bahn 9 for airport. If you head south west there are quite a few nice restaurants. The corridors are a little utilitarian and would benefit from a few homely touches. The green carpets in the rooms... More

Check in agent from another planet ( drunk or did not sleep well), moderate room although noisy. Bathroom acceptable. The hotel is not far from the S bahn (underground) approx. 5 minutes walking. Dining and drinking just a couple of minutes walking.

We had a pleasant stay, but some things made the rating a 3. Parking is very difficult, we arrived at 01:30 in the night and we used nearly 1 hour to find two parking spots. The hotel has only a limited spots. We almost gave up, but we finally found two, in two different streets. We had two single rooms.... More

We were a little bit disappointed of the corridor on the floors (smell) and room itself on 2nd floor - design looks good on the photos but in the reality it's not so bright. Anyway the room was pretty clean, the bathroom also - so there was no fear to get in. You can park Your car inside of hotel... More

As the title says 20 minute walk too Alexandra Plaza or 5 minutes on the U-Bahn. We stayed here as a family. Safe area, some great places to eat. The Italian on the main road is fantastic and a bit further along the steak house is excellent. The hotel is your standard 3 star hotel, clean and quiet. Staff all... More

This ibis Is well located with a nearby metro and bus connections. The rooms are as usual quite small. But clean and tidy. The breakfast was ample and very good coffee machine. The staff was helpful. There is a computer in the lobby as well. U ca have tea /coffee in the lobby till 11 i think.

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighborhood Profile
Friedrichshain
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
