The hotel installations itself are good, the room is ok, the price for parking the car is fair, but the big problem with the Ramada hotels (at least in Germany) is the wifi. It's plain awful. You need to have a working phone to receive a sms with a code, but it doesn't work on international phones. Even if you... More

Staff is really nice courteous and helpful. Their Internet is a hassle, you have to get a password from front desk every 24 hours, and it's very very slow. They upgraded us to a suite so it was very spacious and a nice gesture from the staff which we really appreciated! Outstanding gym, using their gym facilities makes it worthwhile.... More

We arrived after 6pm. We checked in with Christopher (not very friendly) he asked for a credit card to take a €60 deposit?? We had a double room booked and when we got to the room it was a twin. I rang down to the reception and was told they are fully booked so no double room. Clean room. Ridiculous... More

This is my second review. They changed internet policy...so now it's a tmobile hotspot. you go on the tmobile website and signup your cell phone for access codes. I couldn't receive the text from them, despite my phone being unlocked for every country and having no restrictions. No gym, no sauna, no pool. Beds are SMALL and hard. Blankets don't... More

We went to Berlin this year and needed a hotel to base at, this was both reasonably priced and very close to the underground station so was perfect for us. The staff were helpful and friendly, we were able to drop our bags in early as we arrived early in the morning so were able to spend the first day... More

DONT STAY THERE! We arrived at Ramada Mitte on a Friday 11pm with a fully confirmed reservation only to find out they had done overbooking. They proposed to give us a room in another Ramada (alexanderplatz) but after 15min of taxi and 30min wait in the other hotel, they did not have a room either!!!! We then got relocated in... More

The room was probably the best I've stayed in. Nice beds, mini bar and all round clean and tidy. Room service was excellent. Location wasn't the best but subway just round the corner so not so bad. The bar in the hotel was also excellent with very good service and skysports.

This hotel is just steps from Nature Museum Metro station which makes it great location for every touristic place in Berlin. But is definately not a 4 star hotel: - very small rooms, think is the second smallest I have ever been (been to a lot). Its good for a single not a couple. - No Air conditioning. - No... More

I recently stayed for 3 days in the hotel. The staff was very helpful. The room and bathroom we're clean and their size was more than suitable. I did not order the breakfast, though for very reasonable prices there are at least 5 coffee shops within 3-5 minute walk. The hotel itself is not in the center of Berlin, but... More

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
