I've been staying with some friends over the weekend, the hostel is really modern and stylish, I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Berlin having a great service without spending too much, great location,in the middle of the city. Special thanks at Debora and Robert, they were really helpful giving us suggestions to what to do... More

Had my wall being drilled at 7am, cleaning at 9am and when I went to reception and told the guy I had a problem he answered "I'm lucky it's not mine". Really a pity because the facilities are great. Pretty good location too. They have a pub crawl which starts there but I recommend the Sandeman's one.

We stayed in a 4 berth room, was a great place with a bar and a club, amenities were great. The room was functional and clean, heating was warm and the bathroom was very plush. Was more hotel than hostel in many respects. Location wise was great, lots of nice bars and restaurants close by, and the metro for easy... More

I stayed here from the 27th-30th of January with a group of 7 friends and myself. We managed to get a whole dorm together and were pleased by the size of the room and the ensuite bathroom. I didn't find the room dirty at all as some other reviews are saying. We had a really good time on the pub... More

I stayed the night for the new years, the time I was there the hostel was very clean and well kept, it is in a good location which is a short walking distance to Alexanderplatz. More than enough room to keep all belongings and there was a sink and mirror in the dorm.

Had 4-5 nights at this hostel. Location is quite good. Close to Alexanderplatz. Had a nice youth feeling to it. Music, bar and games at lobby floor Hostel looked to be like new. Stayed in 6 man doorm, which had own private bath and toilet. My bunk was good, had a reading light, own secure locker under the bed. It... More

It was very good, they received me well, gave me the proper info and welcome. The lift was tricky at first, but good. The room was clean and modern, very comfortable bed, wide bathroom and chairs. Breakfast was ok, not very varied. Wi-Fi needs a little more bandwith. It's on a safe zone, but then once in Alexanderplatz it gets... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
