Fun hostel with a great staff. Sometimes the bar is slow but the rooms are comfortable and its a great place to meet people. I would highly recommend it. Very well connected by trains. Although there is not much to do around the hostel at night.

OK hostel in a VERY good location! We were a group of 12 and stayed in 3 rooms. The room I + 3 others stayed in was nice (a 6 persons room, therefore a lot more space than in 4p rooms), the mattresses not so nice, but you can live with it for 3 nights :) Having the shower and... More

With 6 of us travelling together, we had a full room to ourselves. It was big enough, with ample storage for our few days of clothes, and the shower being separate to the toilet was a useful bonus. The hotel is made by the staff though. After a heavy night and losing my key card, they were more than happy... More

8 friends and I went to Berlin for a quick break for 4 days and stayed here because of the good location. Rooms were very clean, enough space but could have benefitted with a wardrobe maybe? The toilet and shower room were in great condition and very clean but neither room provided handsoap. Staff at the desk were quite unfriendly... More

The hostel was clean and new. The wifi worked. It was cheap. You could have you're own food in the hostels fridge. Beers were sold at a decent price - you couldn't enjoy you're own beverages anywhere at the hostel. Employees were not very smiling and outgoing.

First: The staff girl that checked us in was super rude, asking what was the problem with us since she was the one taking half an hour to start working things out. She didn't give us any maps or instructions to transportantion. Second: Our room literally flooded ! The water started coming from the bathroom and went all over the... More

Upon arrival the receptionist was a little rude and couldn't speak much English. I had nothing on my card and she seemed impatient when I tried to get my cash together. The room was very cramped. The shower leaked everywhere after each use so we had to buy towels to leave all over the bathroom floor. The location made up... More

Visited for 2 nights in October for my own stag party with 12 mates! It was clean, modern & close to the beer tents for Octoberfest :) Main reason we were there really! Staff were extremely friendly & price was very reasonable too! Great experience, from what I remember!!!

We stayed here for 3 nights recently; the hostel is in an excellent location and the staff are really friendly and helpful.. We really liked the layout and cleanliness of the rooms; each bed has it's own little cubby hole, plug sockets and bedside lamps. The layout of the room ensures you have an element of privacy once in bed,... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
