A very late arrival for a single night's accommodation plus breakfast would not normally be adequate time to assess a hotel's customer service. But from the instant we arrived, we were made to feel really welcome - nothing was too much trouble at reception, we were upgraded to a junior suite despite the hotel being extremely busy with a couple... Swissotel is located on Ku'dam, right in the centre of the shopping district. The location is perfect not only for its easy access to the best stores, but also its proximity to the fabulous park Tiergarten, many cafes, restaurants, city landmarks, and naturally-public transport. The hotel is designed in a modern, classy and classic style, although it does seem a... More

After spending 3 nights at Swissotel, I can say that everything was just outstanding. The location is fantastic and very close to the main shopping area, metro station, coffee shops and restaurants. Rooms are extremely clean and quiet, and the breakfast is more than adequate. At this hotel, everybody can speak fluent English, and even Turkish. Near the front desk,... More

I stayed in the Swissotel with a business college on a joint business / sightseeing trip and found it to be excellent in all respects. The quirky entrance with an elevator to the reception added an amount of initial fun to the process, although after a while that did become slightly frustrating! The staff were unbelievably helpful and polite, the... More

Simply decadent! For the Easter Hollidays I travelled 2 Berlin, Germany. While the trip was uneventful.. The hotel n staff were amazing. The staff takes their professionalism to a different level..They aim to please on every level. The hotel's architecture, natural light, airy is 2 die 4r.. Let's say sleek elegance.. So breakfast was redundant..with the regular pastries.. Eggs.. Etc...... More

We spent 3 nights at Swissotel. It is well located for west Berlin - good shops and restaurants nearby as well as railway and U bahn for access to the east of the city. Rooms ok size, very clean and well equipped and also well sound proofed. Beds were hard and pillows very soft but pillow menu available including a... More

Just got back from a 3 night stay at The SwissHotel. (6th till the 8th of May) On arrival we were greeted by the clerk who booked us in very quickly and then gave us a bit of a tour of the Hotels amenities. Room was large and over looked the surrounding roads (room 8041) with the window open you... More

Hotel reception staff can be a bit awkward if you don't book direct, but won't be helpful if you do go direct. Other that that it was a brilliant stay. More

This is actually a good, centrally located hotel with a friendly staff, all very clean and up-to-date facilities (including a Nespresso machine on the room and a B&O sound system). However, during my stay there was a queue of at least 25 (!) people, anxiously waiting for a table at breakfast. Like many others, I did not have the time... More

This is really a first class hotel. We just stayed one night, but would have loved to stay longer! The service was great and the room was super clean and had great features such as Bang & Olufsen stereo, nespresso machine, in-room ironing facilities, ameneties in bathroom etc. We also loved the breakfast. Wonderful food and a lovely ambience. Next... More
