This is a Nice and modern hotel. Breakfast is very Nice and there is a lot of choice. Some rooms unfortunatly have no view at all, thats a minus for me. The room has everything u need. The shower is very Nice. There is good A-C , tv, minibar and a sleeping sofa in THE room

We visited the Novotel for three nights in March 2015 and it cost about €50 from Schoenefeld Airport and about €40 on the way back and it took about 45 mins to get either way. The hotel itself is very well located, just a 25 min walk from Potsdammer Platz, 15 mins from Checkpoint Charlie and The Brandenburg Gate, and... More

Im a proper clean freak when it comes to hotels and always worry about having to sleep in another bed. I was pleasantly surprised and the rooms were very clean, clean towels daily and bathroom spotless. The maid even took an extra 2 mins to fold my pyjamas! Will definitely be using Novotel again. I was in room 107, the... More

Booked this Hotel and flight through a deal with Expedia From the minute we walked through the door we were made to feel welcome by the staff. We walked into our room & it was absolutely spotless. The room was spacious, the bathroom was immaculate & very roomy. Chamber maids cleaned the room every day to a very high standard... More

I was in this hotel in feb/2015 and unfortunately it wasn't a goo choice. We are Le club platinum and no differential attention was given to us. We arrived around 14 pm, and the check is was only at 15 pm, but fortunately we are Platinum and we can have easier early check-in, but our room still not available for... More

Dear fdfelice82, Thank you very much for your helpful feedback. We are very sorry for your experiences with the service in the hotel. Regarding the parking, we can assure that there is no way into the garage if the roller gate is closed. The door in the garage is only for going out not for coming in. The two doors... More

Clean & tidy hotel for a short break. Very helpful staff and nice lobby bar. Good Location within reasonable walk to the city centre. Very good access to underground (Spittelmarkt tube round the corner). Breakfast was too pricey at 21 euros so we went elsewhere. Best nights sleep I've had outside my own bed for years & I would stay... More

I stayed here one night last week. Everything worked, it was clean, the staff was efficient, good wifi, the fitness center had one-of-each workout machine. My room overlooked a busy street but it was perfectly silent. Kind of amazing.

Stayed here this week for seven nights during the ITB travel show. I choose it partially on price and the fact that it had a shuttle to the fair grounds for the show and I am comfortable with the brand. I think this is more a business hotel than a vacation property. This by any standards is a good hotel... More

I sent 3 nights in this hotel. I had very nice room and good view. The room is small but very clean. Breakfast is ok but i think it would be more ! This hotel is located in the city center and close to all the shop and restaurants. I can walk around or take train easily. I will use... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
