This is probably the best area to stay in Berlin (right next to rosenthaler platz) where all the great restaurants and cafe bars. the hotel is really new and shiny and rooms are properly equipped. however the rooms are a bit tight (typical european hotels).

I've been in this hotel recently. It's a really eccentric and cozy place. The room are a bit small but nicely furbished. Eccentric bathroom, the door it's just for the wc. I liked all of the things. Unfortunately i couldn't enjoy their bike because of the weather. I found the place nice and comfortable and also very well connected with... More

I spent three nights here while visiting Berlin. The room was kind of small, but that's what you get in a big European city and the amenities were otherwise excellent. Brilliant location about 10-15 min walk to museum island or the Berlin wall memorial, with lots of nice restaurants and cafes in the area. Very friendly and helpful staff at reception.

A modern hotel, spotlessly clean, with friendly staff. It was easy to find just a few minutes walk from the underground station at Rosenthaler Platz. If you're flying into Schoenberg, you can get the Airport Express train to Alexanderplatz and transfer to the U8 line for two stops. It's about a 20-30 minute walk to some of the main tourist... We stayed 5 nights in mid January with Italian friends. Hotel Mani had great reviews - & it did not disappoint. It's a great location with very trendy cafes & restaurants nearby. You can walk to many attractions & the U Bahn is close & easy to use. Staff are very helpful & they even sell U Bahn tickets which... More

My best friend and I recently stayed here and I don't think I could fault the hotel. It was easy to find from the airport and in a good location for seeing the sights. Amazing value for money and I would stay again when going back to Berlin.

Went her for work! I thought the hotel was really nice, the rooms are really small. You can almost don't go around the bed but still clean and fresh! The bed and the sheets was a ---minus it felt really cheap. But breakfast was super nice and fresh. The girl in the reception was really helpful and could at least... More

Have just returned from a four night stay at Hotel Mani and my first trip to Berlin. The hotel is very well located- easy to get to by train and U Bahn from the airport. The location is very good, easy to jump on the U Bahn to all the sights but a nice walk too. The area is great... More

Dear 90EmmaJane2014, thank you very much for your kind and detailed assessment on our hotel MANI. We are glad, that you like the hotel and that you felt comfortable. Because of the open bathroom, there has to be a certain air circulation in the room, maybe that is the noise that you heard. Nevertheless we are happy that you could... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
