Mani is a modern and trendy hotel, staff was nice, location very good, has a nice restaurant, very decent breakfast. Room could be a bit bigger but did not lack comfort at all. Price / quality was acceptable and even if this hotel is not a definate ´must´ when staying in Berlin, I would not hesitate at all to return... More

Perfect for many reasons. Well kept, great staff and no fuss. Bedrooms are comfortable and good wifi. Great value for money. Breakfast is good but do ask for cooked eggs. slightly limited compared to other Berlin hotels.

This was probably my favorite hotel I stayed in on a 2 weeks European journey. The hotel was awesome, very modern, really nice shower and bed. I would highly recommend staying here. It's right near a metro stop that takes about 10 minutes to get to the central station. Very friendly staff, answered all our questions. Thank you, highly recommended!... More

Perfect stay in a quiet area in Berlin. At hotel we impressed with the design, the rooms was a bit small but very conveniently, the bathroom impresses by its design. The staff was very friendly and pleasant and the surprise was the hotel restaurant with perfect breakfast but one night we dine and it was a memorable enjoyable experience.

Hotel MANI exceeded our expectations. Arriving in the middle of winter (-9˚C), the warm, dark and ultra-modern lobby was very welcoming. Check-in was quick and we were able to get our room a few hours early. The rooms are quite small, but this is evident from the website. When in the shower, you're visible to anyone else in the room... More

We stayed just before New Years. We are a couple in our mid-20s. I don't know who this hotel is targeted to - but it definitely was not us. There is a somewhat offensive print immediately inside the lobby of a nude woman with multiple men and strange objects surrounding her (even my husband found it disturbing). There is a... More

We stayed at Hotel Mani for 3 nights arriving on December 25th. My husband and I had not been to Berlin before, the hotel was in great central location with easy access to the U-Bahn. The receptionists were really helpful and recomended bars, and told us when the shops were open. We stayed in room 505 which had a view... More

Located right near a metro station. You can adjust the temperature with a thermostat. Lovely design in the rooms and common spaces. My door broke and the technician was in the hotel in 10 minutes - pretty fast! Good reliable wifi.

A modern hotel with contemporary interiors in a great location. Just across the road from a UBahn station but also walking distance to various areas and attractions. Good choice of bars and restaurants in walking distance. Rooms a little on the small size but very well equipped. Excellent soundproofed windows at the front so no noise issues from the road... Great location for the city, close to the U-bahn and lots of decent restaurants close by. Very trendy rooms, all chrome and glass. No English tv channels except news which was ridiculous. Free wi-fi everywhere which actually worked. The front desk staff gave no information on check in regarding facilities, breakfast, dining room, cafe etc, just pointed to the lift... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
