Stayed here over New Years and it is a nice hotel, location was superb, 10 minute walk to Alexanderplatz, 1 minute walk to an U Bahn and 2 minute walk to the tram, but I just felt that the room could have had something more in it to make it a superb stay! It was strange even though the heating... More

I liked everything in this hotel. Happy and helpful people in the meeting. Close to subway, good restaurants nearby and cheap. The room is amazing, you could consider is that were a little bigger. but very comfortable with excellent bed and good shower too. The breakfast I recommend also. The people at the reception of all the hotels we were... More

We stayed at the Hotel Mani for a week. The best thing about this hotel has to be its location. Seconds away from the Rosentalerplatz station and 15 mins walk to Alexanderplatz. The hotel is in a great area surrounded by cafes and restaurants. The staff at the hotel were super kind and friendly! Helped us with everything and anything... More

I can't see why people think the rooms are so small. Most people go to Berlin for a few days and it's plenty big enough. The rooms are well designed and so comfortable - big bed, lovely shower, separate loo, nice mini bar etc. The area feels quite local and there are some nice restaurants on the road. Excellent value... More

Central and very close to Rosenthaler Platz U bahn. Clean compact rooms, great shower, mini-bar, fantastic beds; everything to make our stay comfortable. The hotel proved to be perfect in every way. Highly recommended.

hotel MANI is a good hotel in the middle of Berlin Mitte. Modern cool style, perfect beds although rooms are not huge, it is a nice place to stay in a short trip to Berlin. The hotel is very well located, close to the underground, walking distance to the island of museums, bars, restaurants, parks... good choice!

Lovely hotel, with great heating which was useful when it was -10 degrees outside. One of the comfiest beds I've ever slept in. The shower was in the room, which is weird but since my travelling companion and I have no boundaries this was fine. Rooms aren't massive (we had a standard double) but fine for the three nights we... More

Nice staff in a hot hotel. Nice design and cool design elements, like a big yellow crocodile lying on the table in the restaurant. :-) Good rooms. Just looooove the bathroom. Perfect location, close to everything - nice shops, good sightseeing, good restaurants and bar.

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
