I found the hotel clean and convenient. The hotel was very busy, it seemed that they had mostly business travelers. My only complaint was that the front desk was understaffed, one person and always a line of people waiting to check-in or check-out. No time to get help with "concierge" type questions. My compliments to Angela, who was very helpful.... More

My husband and myself stayed for 4 nights at this very nice modern hotel. The staff were always very pleasant, courteous and helpful. The size of the room did not bother us - they are very clean and comfortable. Who wants to spend a lot of time in their hotel when you have Berlin to see! The location of Hotel... More

I stayed 2 nights at this hotel and took advantage of its proximity to Hachescher Markt to visit the attractions around it. It's close to the Jewish quarters so the new Jewish Synagogue is walking distance as are the great shops for clothes, shoes and other things. Next door to the hotel is a Japanese Fusion restaurant called Dudu, which... More

Members of the public can have breakfast at this chic hotel in Mitte. What I like is the attention to detail by chef Alex & his team. Like the chives sprinkled on the top layer of the scrambled eggs each time after a helping is taken; great quality cheeses, preserves, yoghurt, rolls, croissants, fresh juice. And the service is excellent,... More

I visited Berlin with 6 of my friends for 3 nights. Although our stay wasnt that long, we had a very good experience. The rooms arent huge but they are clean, comfortable and very chic. The staff was always friendly and helpful. If you decide to have breakfast you wont be disappointed! Good food + lovely atmosphere. Also, the location... More

The hotel has a good location and friendly personal. The rooms are clean which is very important to me. However the rooms are so small! Especially the room between the bed and wall is way too small. The bathroom is also very small, especially trying to get out of the shower is a challenge. If you're in Berlin to look... More

Dear Pukkiepuk, thank you very much for your feedback. I am glad, that you like the hotel although it was a little to small for your taste. Maybe I can suggest our sister hotel the hotel AMANO, right around the corner for your next visit. The rooms are a little more spacious and we have different types of apartments as... More

"Mitte" is "in" and hotel Mani is definitely part of this trendy neighborhood. It is an ideal basis to further discover this part of the former East-Berlin. The hotel is very good: rooms are well equipped, excellent breakfast, restaurant and bar, and everything within walking distance from e.g. Alexanderplatz, Unter den Linden, Museuminsel, etc. From Berlin-Tegel you can easily reach... A very modern art deco style hotel - helpful friendly staff and a perfect location! This hotel was more than we had expected - it was definately 4star quality - everything was new and fresh and the area is great - surrounded by restaurants and easy walk to the shops of Hackescher Market. The Underground is literally out the front... More

We had an amazing time in the hotel! Location is perfect, right next to the U. The hotel in new, clean, very stylish, has a sexy vibe to it. The room is just the size needed, also we had a great view. The stuff was the nicest al the time. The price is reasonable. Definitely will come back!

Location: Excellent. Within walking distance of the more relaxed / trendy shopping area and loads of lovely restaurants around. Underground trains and trams within a minute walk. Hotel: Really great. Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
