My best friend and I recently stayed here and I don't think I could fault the hotel. It was easy to find from the airport and in a good location for seeing the sights. Amazing value for money and I would stay again when going back to Berlin.

Went her for work! I thought the hotel was really nice, the rooms are really small. You can almost don't go around the bed but still clean and fresh! The bed and the sheets was a ---minus it felt really cheap. But breakfast was super nice and fresh. The girl in the reception was really helpful and could at least... More

Have just returned from a four night stay at Hotel Mani and my first trip to Berlin. The hotel is very well located- easy to get to by train and U Bahn from the airport. The location is very good, easy to jump on the U Bahn to all the sights but a nice walk too. The area is great... More

Dear 90EmmaJane2014, thank you very much for your kind and detailed assessment on our hotel MANI. We are glad, that you like the hotel and that you felt comfortable. Because of the open bathroom, there has to be a certain air circulation in the room, maybe that is the noise that you heard. Nevertheless we are happy that you could... More

Stayed here with my boyfriend for 3 nights and the main thing for us was location. stayed near alexanderplatz on our last visit and that is not the best location for good shopping and nightlife. This hotel is so close to everything, shops, bars, cafes and the U-bahn! The decor was lovely and the rooms sound proofed and dark when... More

Stayed here on the business trip and I would definitely recommend it. I got a room facing the courtyard which was very quiet. The room was very modern and although a bit small it was cleverly laid out. Loved the huge walk in shower. Good wifi access. Didn't eat at the hotel so I can't rate the food.

Had a fantastic 3 night stay here. Very modern hotel with lovely bathroom. Fantastic service from hotel staff. Hotel also offers lots of brilliant little extras such as I pod, DVD, video game rentals. Fantastic location, only 2 minute walk to the nearest U bahn station which will get you wherever you need to go in Berlin. Lots of little... More

I was travelling on my own and wanted somewhere I could feel safe with my usual standard of nice linen and shower recess. Mani had it all and I was not disappointed. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The location is great too with good restaurants a few doors away, which was good as their 'award winning' restaurant was... More

I've been here for a 4 nights stay for business. After the first "strange" sight, the hotel is very nice. Clean, comfortable, with nice room and breakfast. Only lack for 5 stars...is a bit of space in the room. They are very small and without a real desk to work on.

Nice room, comfortable beds, very nice shower but sadly a bit messy seen that the door opens outwards (to allow u to close it once you stand inside) so water drops a bit everywhere. Room cleaning was good, the location is great and the service in general very good.

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
