The hotel's location is its best feature as you have one tram stop just in front of the hotel and you also have a metro stop round the corner. It is also a 20 minute walk to the center of Berlin. There are nice cafes and restaurants near the hotel. The hotel is comfortable, staff are friendly, breakfast is abundant... More

Second visit here, unbelievably cheap, 68€ a night, excluding breakfast. Beds were a bit disappointing, a bit too firm for my liking , but the place is tidy, and very clean, free wi if , not much to complain about...............

Location in Mitte, next to UBahn stop, big spacious rooms, kind staff, wifi not excellent but still existing and free, cosy lobby bar. Good value for money. I would stay there again. there was not fridge in the room which would of be of help.

Dear guest, thank you very much for your time to give us your feedback. We very much appreciate your comments about the friendliness of our staff and about our hotel bar. You are right the hotel is located off the beaten track in a small, quiet street in the city center. But because of the nearby metro station "Gleisdreieck" you... More

The hotel itself is nice. Rooms are as advertised, clean, decent bed and bathroom. We stayed for 3 nights on a long weekend getaway. It is 1 minute from a metro station, which has two lines, direct to many main tourist points. Coming back in the evening it was nice to have the bar open to have a nightcap. We... More

We had 3 nights here. Easy walk to Potsdamer Platz. About 15 minutes. Straight across the road from a U-Bahn station. Large, clean and comfortable room. Would stay here again. Didn't have breakfast here so cannot comment.

We had an excellent stay for two nights in this hotel. A very warm welcoming and we received a key at 11 a.m already. The room is basic but has all comfort needed. (A safe in the room would be useful). The breakfast is excellent. Sausages, cheese, ... Delicious. The biggest advantage is however the location. The hotel is located... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in December. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were superb. It was great to have a kettle in the room. The location was excellent for the U bahn and great for the technic museum too. We would definitely stay here on another trip to Berlin.

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighborhood Profile
Kreuzberg
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighborhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and 60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and 90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighborhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
