Adrema in Berlin is a very good hotel, located on the banks of the Spree river in the northwestern part of the inner city. The room was great with a wiev to the 'Sieger Saüle' and 'Gedächtnis Kirche'. Room was spacy and with architectural exiting glass-arrangement for the bathroom. Friendly service-oriented staff. Very limited parking facilities in the hotel.

The hotel is nicely located close to Spree and connections to other parts of the town by public transportation are not bad. Close to a residential area and a bit too close to a church, that will make sure you wake-up early every single morning to enjoy Berlin! Sundays absolutely included! Others have mentioned the peculiarity of the bathroom design.... More

The Adrema is conveniently located for Tegel Airport (it's on the TXL bus route and costs 10-15 euros by taxi) and faces the river Spree. If you ask for rooms numbered upwards from 05 you should get a river view. (Below that rooms face on to a rather unappealing courtyard!), Rooms are good - the bed was comfortable, free WIFI... More

This hotel decided to host a super-loud party in an event space two floors below the room given to me, at night. Even with windows closed, the noise was quite audibly heard throughout the concrete structure. Any reasonable host or responsible business would either not have hosted such an event or would not have given rooms near it to paying... More

I was apprehensive because I had not heard of the hotel and the lobby could be a bit sharper/better decorated but the room was huge, overlooking a river, quiet and had a great bed as well as bathroom. The hotel is a converted office building more retro than trendy. It is easy to get too from TXL airport (bus) and... More

A friend and I went for a Spa day at the hotel. At our arrival, we were informed we could pay at the reception and we would get an access card. As we entered the wellness, there was no light, no staff, and the steam room was not even on! As there was no one to help us, we decided... More

My husband and I stayed here last year and loved it so much that we chose this hotel when we were in Berlin this fall with friends visiting from the US. We anticipated sitting on the patio overlooking the river and catching up with them. We were disappointed to find out when we arrived on a Sunday evening that the... More

A very nice, clean hotel with neat and comfortable rooms. Not a perfect location for sightseeing but for a business stay it was very convenient. The staff is polite and the breakfast is tasty. Excellent view towards the river from the restaurant.

While the rooms are small, they have everything that you could need. The beds were comfortable, the room was quite clean. It is a nice location, close to the river so nice for walking and exploring. It is very close to my work so also convenient in that respect.

We came to the hotel on wednesday 8. oct. First the receptionist gave us a single room, the next room they tried to give us, already had a man in the shower! Finally the third room was a corner-room with at great view, but a tiny cupboard. We din not recieve any apologies from the arrogant receptionist. Finally the dinner... More

Staying in Moabit

Neighborhood Profile
Moabit
You may not realize Moabit is one of the city’s most central neighborhoods when you arrive at Hauptbahnhof (central station). Surrounded by waterways, Moabit is a quiet island protected from the hustle and bustle of Berlin. The crowds that do gather prefer spending their evenings in cozy restaurants over the party venues offered by other districts. With its beautiful parks, old housing and romantic industrial areas, life has traditionally been relaxed and a bit slower here. But the tone may soon be changing. Reasonable housing costs and proximity to city center are attracting more young Berliners and international visitors. This interest is encouraging new bars, cafés and nightclubs, making Moabit a candidate for most up-and-coming neighborhood in the city.
