This hotel is located right on the river and slightly out of the city but within walking distance. The rooms are clean and modern and the wifi connection very reliable. Breakfast is a mixture of cold meats, ham, eggs, cereal, fruit, yoghurt, pastries, bread, beans, sausages, bacon. All very tasty. Staff friendly and helpful. Only disadvantage to me was I... More

My new wife and I stayed for 4 nights at the Adrema for our 'minimoon' and had 5 very enjoyable days in the great city of Berlin. We decided to splash out on a suite and were given room 715 on the top floor, with a veranda / roof terrace overlooking the River Spree. This was a reasonable cost of... More

We stayed five nights and were enchanted by the sweeping views of the river. A good floor plan made for comfortable accommodation. Although we didn't quite get control over the air conditioner. Excellent breakfasts and helpful staff at the bar and reception added to our Berlin experience. The location just out of the city centre gave us walking access to... More

Hotel was perfect for a city break. Less than ten minutes walk from U-Bahn station, and less than 1 hour from airport using public transport. Ethnically diverse area may not be to everyones taste, with a guidebook advising to stay clear of it after dark, however we found no issues, and the selection of food and bars locally was excellent.

Stayed for 3 nights a week ago and the Adrema Gold is fine for a base as a city break. Our room was clean and towels changed daily. Asked for a room with a view of the river on our arrival and were given one, although the package had been for a standard room (which are apparently at the rear).... More

My friend booked via easy jet holidays and everythign went smoothly. we got a taxi from the airport (schonfeld) which was 55 euros but it was late evening and we just want to get to hotel, on the way back we got the bus from hotel to main train station and then train to airport which was included in the... Hmmm well some people said the area wasn't the best but had a lovely location right on the river Spree not so far from Tegel- was there for a conference. Hotel is a bit formless- more a 3 than 4 star in ways. Wifi wasn't great in the corner room but it did overlook the river which was nice. Bed... More

Adrema hotel felt like home away from home. Facilities was at par with other hotels I have stayed in before. It was the staff however, who made the difference. The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating in everything. Knowing that it was my first visit to the city, they helped me find my way through the transport system. They... More

TERRIBLE SERVICE. They claim to have complimentary internet. But it's almost impossible to connect and they just answer there are too many users. The worst possible experience if you are there to work.

We were given a ground floor accessible room which was a good layout for putting my wheelchair to the side and still having room. Shower was accessible too. The room: beds were soft, very soft which felt lovely and comfy at the time but had a really aching back when I got home. Think they are memory foam, you just... More

Staying in Moabit

Neighborhood Profile
Moabit
You may not realize Moabit is one of the city’s most central neighborhoods when you arrive at Hauptbahnhof (central station). Surrounded by waterways, Moabit is a quiet island protected from the hustle and bustle of Berlin. The crowds that do gather prefer spending their evenings in cozy restaurants over the party venues offered by other districts. With its beautiful parks, old housing and romantic industrial areas, life has traditionally been relaxed and a bit slower here. But the tone may soon be changing. Reasonable housing costs and proximity to city center are attracting more young Berliners and international visitors. This interest is encouraging new bars, cafés and nightclubs, making Moabit a candidate for most up-and-coming neighborhood in the city.
