The room was fantastic! Very spacious, 2 beds, 1 wardrobe, a sofa (pull out bed), desk, large windows (although our view was of other hotels) and plenty of walk space in between all the furniture. Very impressed by the size of the room and well worth the money. The bathroom is average size but very modern and the entire room... More

My boyfriend and I stayed back on the first weekend of October, to celebrate our anniversary. We booked just a standard room through easyjet city breaks. From the outside, the building looks very smart and the inside does not disappoint either. The reception area is modern and fairly simple yet quite grand, as is the restaurant. We were delighted when... More

Booked through BA as a city break. Nice hotel, good location with links to the city and Tegel airport but the staff are not attentive enough nor do they show enough concern to ensure you have a pleasant, comfortable stay. Getting to the hotel was easy enough (bus no TXL) to the top of the street and a short walk... More

Well, what a day. My wife slipped and hurt her ankle yesterday and we had the pleasure of being above a wedding party till 1am last night in the Gold Inn Adrema. This morning we needed a hospital and the hotel did not know where one was. We found one ourselves. We were treated excellently and got crutches so she... More

The hotel is placed not in the center of Berlin, but in walking distance to the inner city and right next to several buss stops. The hotel is beautiful and the service is very good. We only tried the restaurant's morning buffet and it was very good. The bar was okay, but we waited a long time for our cocktails.

Its a simple but good hotel. I wouldn't give it 4 stars but oke. The hotel is a bit far from the center of Berlin, but with a cab you can go anywhere. Breakfast was good and enough choice. This is a cheap and good hotel, if you pay a bit more you get a better hotel on a better... More

Located on the Spree River, which was one of my requirements for jogging. It was very easy to walk down to the river and jog along. Fabulous breakfast included in our reservations. It has a great, fun bar area, on the river. We were fortunate to stay in a 7th floor suites with a view of the river. Our other... More

Combined a business trip and a weekend getaway. Location fine of you do not mind taking a bus to the Ubahn. Quite a few nice small resturants in the area a short walk away. We had constant wifi challenges in the hotel. The spa was quiet with the river flowing right out the window. Next time we will try a... More

Staying in Moabit

Neighborhood Profile
Moabit
You may not realize Moabit is one of the city’s most central neighborhoods when you arrive at Hauptbahnhof (central station). Surrounded by waterways, Moabit is a quiet island protected from the hustle and bustle of Berlin. The crowds that do gather prefer spending their evenings in cozy restaurants over the party venues offered by other districts. With its beautiful parks, old housing and romantic industrial areas, life has traditionally been relaxed and a bit slower here. But the tone may soon be changing. Reasonable housing costs and proximity to city center are attracting more young Berliners and international visitors. This interest is encouraging new bars, cafés and nightclubs, making Moabit a candidate for most up-and-coming neighborhood in the city.
