This hotel is adequate but not much more. We stayed as part of an escorted tour so I don't know the cost but not expensive, I guess. The room was a decent size and the beds were comfortable but the pillows were so thin as to be useless. We couldn't ask for extra pillows at reception in the morning as... More

situated near the metro, the hotel has a beautiful restaurant, the rooms are clean, quite with good space on it and the bathroom. The price is 2 times less expensive than the hotel at the Alexanderplatz.

Stayed here with my wife while we were traveling around Europe and this was a very clean, very comfortable hotel. We enjoyed the restaurant that was in the enclosure as we ate their several times. This hotel is in a great location in East Berlin and very close to public transportation. Hotel staff was great and room was always cleaned.... More

This is a hotel with good value for your money. It could use some renovation but otherwise there is not much to complain. The rooms are ok and equipped with what you need. Breakfast is also decent and most of the staff are really helpful and great (with one exception). If you only need a place to sleep then this... More

The hotel is situated in a quiet and safe area. The real selling point of this hotel is the location, well connected to Schoenefeld airport, by train (S-bahn) that from Shoenefeld arrives at the Frankfurter Allee station, just few minutes from the hotel. At 100 meters from the hotel there is a metro station (U-Bahn - Samariterstrasse) which is 5... More

Large clean room with en suite. Decor a bit dated but ok. Located inside a small shopping mall and near U bahn and S bahn stations so very easy to get around. Some nice restaurants near by as well. Staff speak English. Nice well priced accommodation.

We stayed here for 3 nights together with 3 friends. Went there by car, the hotel was easy to find and parking was reasonably priced. The hotel had what you needed, though our room did not contain a minibar and one of the pillows were like 2cm thick, of course I got that one. You don't go to Berlin to... More

This is the third time I have stayed in this hotel and it is starting to feel a bit tired and rundown. The first room had no mini bar and the aircon didn't work. We switched rooms and had a tiny amount of aircon. After 4 days this broke but we where checking out. There are stains on the hallway... More

We stayed here for one night, as we wanted a hotel in that area and it offered a great price and seemed quiet enough, compared to the main road. The hotel entrance is in a side road of frankfurter allee and offers rooms facing that small street or the backside. It was quiet for a good night sleep. Unfortunately the... More

See previous review. I made an error - the hotel is in the old EAST Germany area not the WEST. I was I bit uncomfortable about the area getting off the metro by night and walking several blocks to hotel it but was unfounded. It just is in a business area that closes early so daylight gave it a better... More

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighborhood Profile
Friedrichshain
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
