I arrived in Berlin alone and with an accommodation arrangement that fell through. A phone call on my mobile from the Reichstag secured a booking and I was there by taxi in an hour. I just spent 7 great days in Berlin and 5 nights at Intermezzo Hotel. The location is great, walking distance to many of Berlin's best attractions such as Reichstag, Pottsdamer Platz and Check Point Charlie. Then only 10-15 minutes by nearby metro to all other. Have just spent three nights at the Intermezzo. Clean, quiet, very convenient location. Relaxed and easy-going staff. Buffet breakfast quite good. The rooms could do with a little colour to make them more cheerful. Would definitely stay there again. more

I have been in this hotel several times. If you don't look for big comfort it's a very nice and not so expensive location (bead & breakfast). Clean, very calm and and only a few minutes walk to the Potsdamer Platz, Reichstag, Brandenburger Tor. Underground nearby with good connections to everywhere. more
