A weekend in Berlin, and i stayed again in hotel sachsenhof. Very cheap and spottless clean. Nice big room with Bath. Centraly located in schoneberg, walking distance from nollendorfplatz and in the middle of everything. You can rent a bike for only 10 euro.s a day. I can really recommend the place and for certain come back.

I enjoyed my staying and will come back in the future. The breakfast worth the extra money. The service in the dinning room was attentive. All the persons at the reception were friendly and helpful according to the needs.

I stayed here for a week and everything was wonderful. The best quality I like about this hotel is the value. The rooms are smaller than most other hotels in the area, but the cost per night is lower. Lots of bars in easy walking distance and U2 line is really close.

Very good value hotel, always cleaned well, staff friendly and in a good district. Lots of restaurants nearby. We picked it also because of its location to central train station. Would go back and throughly recommend.

Hotel is in the Schoneberg district with a Uber line about 100 metres away. The hotel is nothing fancy but clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and they have bike rental for €10 a day which is better than the metro for getting around Berlin in my view. Only problems, ask for the Wifi code at check in, they don't... More

The rooms here are huge! I spent several comfortable nights here. The hotel was kept very clean and I hardly ever heard any of the other guests. The street is quiet but there are lots of restaurants, bars, bakeries, kebap stands and convenience stores in the area so you have access to plenty of amenities. The U-Bahn station is at... More

Hotel Sachsenhof in the Motzstrasse is very centrally located, close to the train station Nollendorferplatz, very clean and and the housekeeping will often do your room when you are down for breakfast. In some other hotels your room may not be done at 5h in the afternoon, not good when you are showering and getting dressed for dinner. Breakfast is... More

Great location, near shops, cafes, a tube station. Quiet street and hotel. Comfortable, big rooms (we had 2 twin rooms). Good wifi in one, poor in other but we knew and we'd asked for a quiet room. Breakfast was good. Staff spoke English and were very helpful.

This hotel was perfect in my opinion. It wasn't expensive at all and was very well located at just a few steps away from a metro station, and a lot of restaurants and even a convenience store. It has everything! So you won't be short of options when deciding what to eat for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Also, the people... More

Staying in Schoneberg

Neighborhood Profile
In 1963, Schöneberg was the center of the political west, inspiring John F. Kennedy to choose this area to famously announce, "Ich bin ein Berliner." Times may have changed, but modern-day Schöneberg still pays tribute to its historical legacies. Once the richest city outside of Berlin proper, the area's affluent past is still visible in ornate housing facades dating back to the Gründerzeit of the 19th century, while residents in fur coats walking their dogs or shopping in high-end KaDeWe continue the tradition with a modern flair. Schöneberg was also once the center of the decadent and burlesque nightlife of the 1920s. It was here that Marlene Dietrich partied with Christopher Isherwood and the first gay bar in Germany was founded. Today, the gay community still revolves around Nollendorfplatz. The overground Ubahn station is even illuminated in rainbow colors, paying tribute to Schöneberg's progressive past.
