This was my 4th trip to Hotel Mondial. I loved the warm welcome given by the staff. A cozy room. Excellent location of the hotel and a lovely hearty breakfast buffet every morning makes me look forward to every visit to Berlin.

We stayed at the Mondial on11th June for 3 nights and were delighted with the location on the kuferstendamm, close to the SBahn maybe 350-400metres and also the UBahn. Getting there from the Berlin Hauptbanhoff was simple and quicker than a taxi during the day;cost €2.70 per person whereas the taxi would be nearer €15. The hotel staff were very friendly... More

Staying as a tourist in a city not so small, like Berlin, needs some preliminaries for not to be lost in vacation. Considered what you’ll expect to yield out of your holiday (or else) it’ll be wise to carefully choose the place to be for the time staying abroad. So we, kind of urban nomads, who like to see, smell,... More

Although location is nice and overall hotel and room condition is good, staff is shorthanded and quite unfriendly. Don't expect a helpful voice on the line if you call from your room and waiting for an answer could be as long as 2 minutes. Restaurant was being run by one waitress and you should be ready for long waits for... More

First visit to Berlin and it won't be the last. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, great location. A specific mention to Sandra, the blonde haired beauty, who was so helpful and pleasant, couldn't of asked for a nicer person to assist in any way possible. She is definitely someone to ask for by name during a visit to this hotel.

The "Mondial-am-Kurfurstendamm" Hotel's best advantage is certainly its location. It's a bit "off the beaten track", although it is situated in Kudamm and it has an excellent transport connection with everything possible in the German capital, The bus stop is almost in front of the hotel and you can travel direct from here to Bradenburg Gate and Alexanderplatz or to... I have just returned from a few days at the hotel mondial and would recommend it. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable and in an excellent location a short walk away from the train station. It's also right in the heart of shops and plenty of restaurants and some bars. It has a nice restaurant and a good selection... More

A clean and comfortable hotel close to one of Berlins centra. The rooms are roomy, clean and comfortable. One disadvantage is that the long distance to the TV and its small size makes it hard to watch TV. On the other hand who travels to Berlin to watch TV? Comfortable spa and relax unit in the cellar and cozy bar... More

I booked this hotel based on Trip Advisor reviews and wasn't disappointed one bit. The hotel is a short walk from Savignyplatz S bahn along the cafe-lined Bleibtreustrasse. And the hotel is bang in the middle of Kurfürstendamm, known locally as the Ku'damm, one of the most famous avenues in Berlin. The very broad, long boulevard is considered the Champs-Élysées... Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
