First visit to Berlin and it won't be the last. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, great location. A specific mention to Sandra, the blonde haired beauty, who was so helpful and pleasant, couldn't of asked for a nicer person to assist in any way possible. She is definitely someone to ask for by name during a visit to this hotel.

The "Mondial-am-Kurfurstendamm" Hotel's best advantage is certainly its location. It's a bit "off the beaten track", although it is situated in Kudamm and it has an excellent transport connection with everything possible in the German capital, The bus stop is almost in front of the hotel and you can travel direct from here to Bradenburg Gate and Alexanderplatz or to... I have just returned from a few days at the hotel mondial and would recommend it. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable and in an excellent location a short walk away from the train station. It's also right in the heart of shops and plenty of restaurants and some bars. It has a nice restaurant and a good selection... More

Have been before to this quality hotel and it's as good now as was then. Very clean spacious warm and welcoming. Very comfortable beds quality bedding fantastic bathrooms. Will be back again. Thank you to all for making our stay a first class experience. Good quality swimming pool and sauna with immaculate shower facilities. As I told reception on our... More

A clean and comfortable hotel close to one of Berlins centra. The rooms are roomy, clean and comfortable. One disadvantage is that the long distance to the TV and its small size makes it hard to watch TV. On the other hand who travels to Berlin to watch TV? Comfortable spa and relax unit in the cellar and cozy bar... More

I booked this hotel based on Trip Advisor reviews and wasn't disappointed one bit. The hotel is a short walk from Savignyplatz S bahn along the cafe-lined Bleibtreustrasse. And the hotel is bang in the middle of Kurfürstendamm, known locally as the Ku'damm, one of the most famous avenues in Berlin. The very broad, long boulevard is considered the Champs-Élysées... Located on famous Kurfurstendamm shopping street near S-bahn and U-bahn stations in central location. Our spacious room had a queen bed and classic style furnishings. A sound-proof windows kept out the street noise traffic. The indoor pool and sauna was just great. Friendly and helpful staff, with one exception. Free but poor Wi-Fi. PS. A direct bus to Tegel Airport... More

The spoiling factor for me with this hotel was the attitude of some of the staff, particularly the bar man, who I am convinced short measured me on the gin in my Tom Collins. He was also extremely dismissive. One of the receptionists seemed to have "attitude" That said, the hotel is clean, the rooms pleasant and nothing really to... More

Very hard to fault this hotel apart from two members of staff. A very rude bar man and a stroppy receptionist. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean and a fabulous breakfast. The location is perfect, in the middle of a wonderful city with loads of bars, restaurants and very expensive shops. The Spa area is a little disappointing.

This hotel was recommended to us by a German girl we work with, and a very good recommendation it was too. The hotel staff and facilities were faultless. We would definitely stay here again and for anyone visiting Berlin you should certainly consider staying here.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
