Warm welcoming, extreme staff availability in order to satisfy all client requests. They speak both English and Spanish. I've spent one night to attend a sport event at O2 Arena, that is very close to the hotel. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable. Probably the best quality at the most affordable price. Highly recommended for visit Berlin, too. You... More

Stayed here for three nights in June. Hotel is around 25 mins from the airport by taxi and cost 33 euros. The rooms are basic but clean and maintained each day. The hotel bar is cheap and its location is ideal for tourists, right next to the wall and near the museums and 02 arena. Would 100% visit again and... More

This place is a great place to stay, the location is perfect, as it is in between Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain and the vibe is close to old school Berlin. Change is happening here quickly, but the feel is cool and alternative still. There is lots of street art and great bars and restaurant within a 5-10 min walk. Plus you... More

This hotel has a very good location, nice staff, basic breakfast and a decent room. Only problem I've had was that I somehow had no internet connection anywhere aside from the lobby/breakfast room. I only stayed for one night so I didn't really have much time to try and communicate with staff to solve this problem (It was night time... More

Location is close to everything. Food. Drink. Culture. Bars. Transport. Its that easy to use this place as a base. Rooms are clean & have the basics. Service & breakfast is top notch. No complaints at all from me!

I've recently stayed at that hotel for one night while traveling to the country side of Germany. Before moving to Morocco, I've lived in Berlin for more than 15 years and I did not expect much from a hotel this affordable. I was pleasantly surprised: * 52E for a single room is really good for the location * the location... More

I stayed at East Side hotel for one night, the room was clean and staff were friendly. Though you will feel really confined though, as the space in rooms, and in fact in any place inside the hotel, is really limited. Price was a little bit high, but I was forced to book on the day of arrival from the... More

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighborhood Profile
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
