The hostel had a great atmosphere and really invited people to mingle. The bar area and smoking room created ample opportunities to meet people. The staff were friendly and helpful, on call 24/7. The rooms are decorated with care and are really eclectic. The Location is great. It was very clean. Over all a great hostel.

The hostel looked nice with all the walls painted in different themes. Our room was at the same floor as the reception so it was convenient. Internet was 0,50e half an hour. the receptionist n staffs r really snobbish. i had a terrible encounter when i was in a huge need to enter my room when the "reception is closed" i was replied in a terrible manner, the staff glared at me with looking annoyed when i spoke to her politely, n the guy replied me in a sarcastic gesture as though... It's a good place to go with a big group bc the rooms are from 6 to 9 people. The place is clean and the atmosphere is really nice. All guests have free wifi and there is a kitchen you can use if you don't want to spend money in restaurants.

Spent the weekend with my brother and my husband for the world beat box competition. Mittes was 30 minutes by public transportation from Tegal Airport. 1 minute walk to the U-Bahn station, and you're able to walk almost everywhere. Clean and nice atmosphere. You're only there to sleep, so party outside! It's Berlin! Just book it!

I stayed at this place when I was a student and went to Berlin for the Berlinale Talent Campus. It's not bad at all and because of the common room/cafeteria, one spent a lot of time talking to so many people. It's just basic but not bad at all. the girl at the reception was very helpful.

Mittes Backpacker is a great hostel with excellent staff, unique atmosphere and nice people. They got a brand-new lift with a big window. The hostel is locate near the main train station and also right next to the underground station. I got stuck at the bar till the next morning and had a memorable time there.
