I'm in love with the place and staff. Everybody was lovely. I joined the staff for New Years Eve and had a great time. Rooms are big and nice. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast was awesome. Totally worth. They have this small cafe and everything is delicious. There's wifi everywhere. I cant wait to go back to Berlin and stay there... More

Booking was very good experience through their website & personal email which was reacted to in English quickly. Friendly blonde girl on reception. Lobby nice but too small for amount of people. No quiet corner to work in. The corridors to bedrooms are very claustrophobic with mad colours but it felt like prison. Bedroom & beds were good with locker... More

Friendly and helpfull staff. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious. VERY easy to find as you get out of the metro station and is right across the street. Laundry facilities just around the corner!

Excellent 24hr service by very knowledgable and friendly staff. The hostel is extremely organised and is able to assist with all types of inquiries from room allocations to transport to the next city. The rooms were very clean with lots of space. (No bunks in the room I was in!) Bedding provided. Bring own towel. Rooms were extremely quiet, especially... More

very nice hostel, nice touches on the hallways and in the rooms, very clean, the only drawback we had was the bathroom, which was on the hallway; nice bar at the "basement", very nice neighborhood, with lots of coffee shops, bars, restaurants, metro station just across the stress

One of the best hostels I've stayed in. Well done everyone. This is how a hostel should be run. I especially appreciated the help I received at reception to various questions and advice and in general the efficiency and professionalism of everyone working there. Can't find one fault or irritation 9/10 I liked especially: - the good choice of music... More

Perfect hostel! It was my first hostel and still to this day my favourite! Became great friends with everyone in the dorm, the room was large, clean and had convenient locker with power point. The bathroom while far from the room was great. The hostel is located in a really cool area and right above the metro! The wifi was... More

Stayed in one of the large dormitories. Really enjoyed staying here. Very clean, modern and in an excellent location. Wish I had stayed here longer. Possibly would consider staying in a room rather than a dorm next time. Can definitely recommend.

Sorry by my english. The hostel is very great, fair price, very clean, theres a card for entry in the rooms, very safe, staff is very polite and kind. There's separate showers and toilets for mans and woman's, very quiet at the hallways, the breakfast is not included, but I like it, free wifi, accept credit card, warm everywhere, there's... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
