As I understand it, Indigo is supposed to be the "boutique" IHG brand, and this was my first visit to one. I was expecting something a bit grander, but the rooms reminded me of Ibis. The first room suffered from road noise, despite the windows being shut. After changing rooms, I had a more peaceful night. It has a quite... More

I do like staying in trendy or quirky hotels, but this one was just a little bit strange. Check-in was straightforward, although parking outside was difficult for the taxi due to major works in the street outside. The room was small (expected for a central hotel) but had space for 2 single beds pushed together to make a double and... More

Stayed here with my Wife for 3 nights over new year. Staff were friendly and efficient. Room was close to all public transport incl bus station for Tegel Airport. Close to main shops and eateries albeit a bit further from the historic side of things but that suited us fine. Would highly recommend this property and will return when revisiting... More

Stayed here with 7 friends during New Years Eve and had a great time. We booked a month in advance and were able to get a nice rate through Booking.com. Checkin was quick. Room was nice, bathroom with one of the best rainshowers I've ever experienced. And they provide Aveda products, which is a nice extra touch. Wifi was good.... More

Chose this hotel for an overnight stay just after Christmas so I got a good friends & family rate from the IHG website. The location was ok, within walking distance to Zoologischer station and Kurfurstendamm. There is currently construction on-going in front of the hotel so we missed it the first time due to the barriers in front and had... More

I have stayed at several Hotel Indigos in various locations, and unfortunately this one is not quite up to the standard of the others. The check-in was OK but not really friendly. I was given a room on the top floor. The room had quite a big balcony which was nice but unfortunately not usable this time of the year... More

I had not stayed at any of the Indigo hotels in the InterContinental (Holiday Inns) group and this one in the centre of Berlin was the first. I had the impression that it was a little avant-garde, somewhat funky, minimal but trendy, boutique hotel-ish. That was about right. The hotel rooms are compact but adequate, furnishings are starkly modern but... More

Receptionists are very kind and helpful. The location is excellent (easily reachable from the Tegel airport with the X9 bus and from the U-Bahn and S-bahn station of Zoologischer Garten and Uhlandstr.) The rooms are clean and modern. Breakfast buffet is very satisfying.

The hotel is not far from subway or train station, Zoologischer Garten and bus station to Airport Berlin Tegel. The hotel is not big but you can enjoy the hotel privately. I like the interior design. A Ipod station is setup in the room. They have Aveda products in the bathroom.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
