Great space and fantastic location, to be honest first impressions were amazing, we booked a superior suite, it was huge, lovely looking apartment, great free wifi connection and a perfect place to spend a few days in beautiful Berlin. For the price though, there were some really simple things that let it down. Bed was wonderfully comfy and large, so... More

Simple but with everything you need in place. Quite location ,bakery and super market nearby. The restaurant " Maximilians " in the same building a definite plus. An overall excellent experience. If next in Berlin I we will stay again in Mandala Suites !

the location is very good, not the most trendy/hippie ,but quite chic and central to walk around most important tourist sites and very convenient for the tube. Huge rooms, actually better described as appartments- no room service-, but anything you might need outside within the corner, cafe grocery store et c. I would certainly recommend for all the spacious size... More

Travelled with wife and 2 year old son, great central location to walk around most tourist sights, excellent facilities to have in-room, would definitely book here again in the future. Close to supermarkets as well so great to be able to have our own breakfast and dinner whilst out for lunch touring this great city.

Been there for a long weekend and decided for it based on excellent reviews. Location is good, rooms large and clean. Also got an upgrade. If you are American or if you like American hotels (we don't) then you will love the decoration. We like fresher, more modern style. Sadly, the garbage bag in the kitchen was full from the... More

I chose this hotel for a business trip solely based on its location and to be honest, I was skeptical as the hotel is located in the courtyard of a commercial building. But when I got to my room, I was blown away. The rooms are enormous, modern and so quiet. I was able to sleep with my window open... More

Good location near Check Point Charlie and very good trip with friends in Berlin. The hotel was perfect, the rooms are very big. There are also good restaurants in the neighborhood of the hotel. I recommand this hotel.

This apart-hotel is just in front of Galleries Lafayette. So you can buy a nice bottle of wine, and amazing food to make an indoor pic-nick while you two prepares to go out for a concert or enjoy Berlin´s nightlife. They offer you very good service, the people in front desk are excellent and you will have more space without... More

The hotel is located just around the corner from the Stadmitte underground railway station so it is easy to get to. We did advise the hotel we were arriving early morning from Australia however the reception from the front desk was anything but welcoming and while they stored our bags until the due check in time, the attitude was poor.... Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
