ATTENTION: Internet connection NOT included in the price (except if the speed of a modem from the 90's covers your needs - i.e. don't try to access any website involving more than basic text...). Nice staff, nice rooms and good location. We were 3 people staying in an apartment, and there was at lot of space. There were shops downstairs and the hotel was located in at nice neighborhood. We would choose this hotel again.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in April, the location for us was perfect in a quieter residential area but only a 5 minute walk to the U bahn and only 2 stops from the Alexanderplatz. The actual hotel is set back of the main road behind another building but is clearly signposted. We checked in nice and... More

The hotel itself is not too bad, the room was huge and clean and the bed comfortable. The carpet though looked like it had been there since the eighties and there was a smell of stain everywhere. Above all, the service was awful. When I arrived, the woman at the reception was doing something else and she didn't even lift... More

Good NH hotel. Friendly staff, great rooms with kitchen, and good location (5 minutes walk to the U ban). Awesome hot shower. The rooms are very big, with modern furniture. Internet connection MUST improve though (very, very slow). Has an Aldi superkmarket outside and good shops nearby if you choose to eat in. Also, a nice restaurant outside.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in a junior suite. Hotel is out of city centre with residental surrounding. Room is big and clean, very firm bed (which we like but someone else may mind it) big bathtube. I loved the super hot water and really fast flow of the water, quite unusual in hotels... Breakfast is ok,... More

I thought the hotel was close to the Berlin HBF rail station however, I then saw that the taxi ride taking longer than I expected. Evidently, when the hotel info said it was near the train station, that was not the Berlin HBF. The ride was 14.80 Euros. Not a problem, it was like getting a sightseeing tour. What a... More

We stayed for 4 nites and were upgraded to an apartment for an extra 10 euros per nite - well worth it! The hotel is very quiet, close to the U Bahn, 2 supermarkets close by and some eateries as well. We liked the firm bed as well.

This is absulutely where you want to stay. Its within walking distance to all the biggies, brandenburg gate, the victory tower, and fernseturm. We got a suite for the price of a one roomer anywhere else in Berlin. Its behind the Aldi and is very quiet.

2 subway stops from Alexanderplatz is a great hotel in a good district- worth the time as you get a spacious apartment for the same price as a room elsewhere. Huge bathroom with very large bath tub. Buy the Berliner Pass and walk past the huge line for tickets at the Permagon Museum etc..... Buy boat tour at the hotel... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
