Hotel was located about 7 minute walk from a metro stop, which within minutes would link you to the whole of Berlin. The room was a real shock, for the price I never expected the luxury. The double room was spacious with separate ensuit and Kichenette/living room. Very clean and modern, on the second day we came back to find... More

Very nice hotel with very nice staff. They are very helpful when you need! Also the location is very good, just between Kreuzberg and Mitte. Rooms are very large and comfortable, you feel almost home... The only problem is the slow internet connection.

The rooms have been clean - cleaning every morning. The room have been spacious - bedroom, sitting room and kitchen. Very comfortable furnishing. Excellent service and catering. Good location for the business meeting, and relatively close to the city center (~3 km).

We booked a "family room", with kitchen and breakfast. Let me start with the good things: Generally, the room was very goog. - Large room, large bathroom. - Excellent breakfast!!! - Nearby U-bahn (a few hundred meters). - Free and simple-to-use wifi internet (but slow. You have to wait for the pages). Now, the drawbacks that you have to be... More

Good hotel in nice location. With two extra beds at no extra cost, the suite was big enough to hold us (family of 5). Big compliment for the friendly staff. This in Berlin which prides itself on its lack of courtesy and service mentality. Only drawbacks: odor in bathroom and just one high chair for the entire breakfast hall, which... More

Nice apartement in quiet area, just 2 U-bahn (U8) stops away from Alexanderplatz and it takes only 5 minutes to walk to the metro station from the hotel. Supermarket in front of the hotel (Aldi and Kaiser). Friendly staff. Transport tickets can be bought at the reception desk. Taxi from Hauptbahnhof to hotel should be between 12 and 15 Euro's... Spacious apartment with kitchnette, more space yet similar prices to hotel rooms about 10-12mins walk away closer to Mitte. Handy to all Berlin thanks to choice of two U-bahn lines (u2 and u8) nearby, and this NH is also next door to supermarkets Aldi and across the road from a bigger Kaiser. Good efficient staff, always ready to help and... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
