Host was extremely accommodating to our needs, the flat was very spacious for a couple and we had all the kitchen utilities to cook on our own. Because there were no guests after us, we could check out later and save ourselves running around town with suitcases, max(the host) was great. Even though Berlin seems like an unsafe city, the... The apartment while not large, was quiet, comfortable and close by to wonderful restaurants and public transport. Max, the host, was genuinely kind, professional and helpful. The only negative was the lack of curtains blocking the sun in the morning. Overall, I had a lovely stay and hope to return again.

Really nice and comfy flat, perfect for our short trip in Berlin. It's simple yet practical, and it was perfectly clean and bright. The location is close to several U-bahn stations. Nice and easy communication. I recommand !

Probably a choice for the more seasoned traveller, with the feel of living in Berlin. The apt is nice, clean and are surrounded by restaurants and shops, the u bahn is 500 meters away, and it takes 15 minutes to get to alexanderplatz. Taxi from town will cost 7-15 euros depending on location, so it is also an alternative if... More

The host Max was extremely polite and pleasant. Location for exploring Berlin is just great -Kurfusterdamm and Potsdamer platz just few stops away. Kinder playground beside. Many bars and restaurants within 300m. Apartment was really nice, newly refurbished, clean, bright and warm. Kitchen had all equipment we needed - Dishes, pan, kofee maker. I could recommend this stay to my friends.... More

I loved the layout of this apartment. It was in a great location in Schoneberg, Berlin. Near restaurants, bars and the U-Bahn system. Staff is friendly and helpful. I plan to stay here my next trip to Berlin.

The apartment was conveniently situated with a choice of U Bahn, S Bahn and bus stops close by. If you get daily tickets you can go anywhere. It is on the S Bahn line to Potsdam, where we spent a day. The apartment was clean and nice, and someone dropped in and changed the towels after 2 days. There is a... More

Lovely apartments in a perfect location with great access to the public transport system. Really close to the gay area of Schoneberg. The balcony was a sun trap by day. If you are a David Bowie fan, his place where he lived is down the road.

I stayed in the Winterfeldt 10 apartments for 4 weeks while working in Berlin. The apartment was well-equipped with a fully-fitted kitchen, it was comfortable, and in a good location for different areas of the city. As I was there in Spring, the balcony was perfect as it got the sun all day and into the evening. The owners are... More

Staying in Schoneberg

Neighborhood Profile
In 1963, Schöneberg was the center of the political west, inspiring John F. Kennedy to choose this area to famously announce, "Ich bin ein Berliner." Times may have changed, but modern-day Schöneberg still pays tribute to its historical legacies. Once the richest city outside of Berlin proper, the area's affluent past is still visible in ornate housing facades dating back to the Gründerzeit of the 19th century, while residents in fur coats walking their dogs or shopping in high-end KaDeWe continue the tradition with a modern flair. Schöneberg was also once the center of the decadent and burlesque nightlife of the 1920s. It was here that Marlene Dietrich partied with Christopher Isherwood and the first gay bar in Germany was founded. Today, the gay community still revolves around Nollendorfplatz. The overground Ubahn station is even illuminated in rainbow colors, paying tribute to Schöneberg's progressive past.
