We stayed here for 4 nights. For some strange reason we got a 6 bedded room instead of double room we requested. Wifi signal is not good. Kitchen too small with limited facilities. I couldn't find any towel to wipe the table/stove after using it. The plus point of this hotel is near to S and U bahn. Supermarket, restaurant... More

I stayed here for 3 days. The front desk was very kind when checking us in late at night and always gave accurate descriptions of how to get where we needed to go. They will not suggest bars near there but they new the hours of food places as we arrived late at night. The rooms were clean and stocked.... More

I stayed at the aletto with a school group. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. We all enjoyed the aletto and hope to return again! I would recommend the aletto for school groups looking for a clean comfortable base to explore the best of Berlin.

I have been in this hostel for 7 nights. Was the best hostel where i have been in my life. Very clean with a super fancy kitchen furnished of everything (including washing machine, dryer and cookware). WC and shower where just perfect, really really clean. Also the dorm was excellent. It was a 10 people dorm but it was big... More

I only stayed one night and one day in this hotel. I booked a room with a travel mate there and when we split the price and due to the available offer at the time on Booking.com we were able to pay 30 something euros each, which was the same amount you would pay for just a bed in the... More

We stayed for two nights and found the triple room to be very comfortable, clean and excellent value for money, under 50€ each for two nights, not at all bad for central Berlin!! The bathroom was lovely with a really nice shower, safe in room and comfortable beds. The hallways were very clean and well presented. As was the bar... More

We spent there 5 nights including the 2014-15 New Year's Eve. The price of the 31st December night was about 400€, making the average price per night 160€. I do not know why, but half of the clients were teenagers, so the behaviour of the staff with the clients was according to that. Breakfast was not included in my internet... More

I booked Aletto after reading generally favourable reviews on Tripadvisor with some minor concerns relating to the hotels target market. Was it a hotel or a hostel and if the latter would it really be suitable for families? The room (A triple) was excellent, very clean and modern with a nice walk in shower room and we found that room... More

We stay here for 3 days and perhaps its bad luck for us, lift not working, internet very very slow and disconnected. Never expect this hotel for business. You could not do anything without internet. Room is very minimum which is perhaps OK with the price. Lot of noise from other young guest from school also.

Noise, Noise, Noise......hundreds of teenagers!!!! bar full of kids..... Room was ok, very clean, but an odd smell??? perhaps the most uncomfortable pillows Iv have ever had my head on. The noise from other rooms isn't great, but the place is full of teenagers running up and down the corridors. Sitting around the corridors like it was a youth club... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
