Shabby and it is not clean and two people in their old section can barely get around in a double room. Bathrooms very small and not really that clean. The whole experience was depressing. Perhaps if we had been able to be in the new section, might feel differently. The staff at the front desk was friendly, helpful. Breakfast was... More

This hotel was in a great location, within walking distance to the Christmas Markets, Bikini Mall, department stores and good restaurants. Close enough to the airport;less than 20 euros for a cab plus public transportation was right outside the door. The hotel was nice enough, the service was excellent and the pricing was very reasonable.

great location on the Ku'Damm cant fault the location at all, and a very good room size - comfy bed and a sofa plus a fridge which was very useful. good value, reception is a little slow but other than that a good overnight stay and I would recommend as a base.

Nice and quiet rooms, many restaurants around, good area for shopping and good connection to ' U-Bahn'. You have a choice to take the breakfast at hotel( too expensive for me - a cup of coffee and croissant is usual my breakfast) or you have possibility to go to some bakeries/coffeeshops nearby ( 3-4€ for coffee&cake)

The location is very good, close to the U-bahn, and the street is very good for shopping and walking. The staff is polite and helpful. Our room was big and clean. A lot of choices in the breakfast room. We recommend it to everyone.

We arrived in Berlin during the evening and were expecting to get the RE7 to the Zoologisher Garten which is very close to Kurfurstendam. In the event we messed up and ended up catching the X7 bus to the nearest underground station. The underground is very similar to the London underground, just not as well sign posted but once you... Price: there was a good deal of 102USD per night in december. Location: it is on the Ku'damm shopping street, across an old theatre, with access to Uhlandstr. U-bahn and several buses as well. A short walk to the Zoo, and to the ruined church as well. Several food and amenities available a short distance away. Rooms: The room was... More

The hotel is lcated in the really great place from my perspective - in the middle of the modern shopping area, very close to most of the transportation points, Zoo, etc. Small supermarket islocated just 100-200m from the hotel. The breakfast is great, although the same. We had 2 rooms and they are not so big, but big enough and clean.... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
