I booked with this Hotel 4 nights, I had to cancel it because I attend my grandfather funeral in another country. I called them and sent emails to the hotel, but they never replied. Booking.com tried to find the best possible solution for me because it eas charge associated with the cancelation. But the hotel told them NO, no exception,... More

I stayed in this hotel in February of 2013 with my dad. We had planned this father/daughter trip about six months in advance and got an amazing flight & hotel deal through Expedia. There are so many great things about this hotel! First, the complimentary breakfast was completely spectacular. Fresh buns and bread, lots of fruit, eggs, sausage, cereals. Second,... More

The staff, especially Ivonne and Michaela, went out of their way to communicate with Air Berlin and locate lost baggage. This relieved our stress load enormously, allowing us to get on with the business of enjoying our holiday, rather than stressing our over lost luggage. This is an excellent hotel, clean, comfortable and located conveniently close to transport. We felt... More

I stayed here for 1 night, i liked the hotel as its 2 minutes walk from the music venue - Huxley's Neue Welt. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming, the room was nice and clean although there was a smell of cleaning products in our room. Our room was at the back of the hotel and was very... More

Quiet location yet very close to Metro. Nice room, well cleaned. Ample breakfast, high quality. Very fast and stable wifi. Nice, friendly and very service-minded staff. All at very low prices. The type of hotel you always hope to find, but - except in this case - seldom get. Highly recommended.

A pleaseant and comfortable stay in the LvB hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, quiet and comfortable room. (at the back of the hotel, our preference) As others have mentioned, great breakfast. There is no kettle in the rooms, but the staff will provide a flask of boiling water, free of charge, so we could satisfy our English dependency on tea.... More

The Hotel is located close to the Hermannplatz and has an excellent connection to publick transport. It provides a good breakfast menu, clean rooms, excellent service. The bed is very comfortable. although it located at a big street you do not hear much from the traffic. I have been there several times, for business and private reason and I even... More

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the Hotel LvB! The service was excellent, they let us into our room early (after a long overnight flight from the US, this is always a treat). The breakfast is amaaazing, tons and tons of food, bread, juices, jellies, sausages, etc. The room was a lot bigger than we expected, tons of... More

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighborhood Profile
Kreuzberg
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighborhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and 60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and 90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighborhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
