The area is nice for stray around. Our family enjoyed the nearest park and Tempelhof Park as well. Best is an important for us was room with separated small room for a child. Also free parking for our car. Near the Hotel on the street are many opportunities to find great food. Best was Vietnamese restaurant for us. The restaurant... More

Found this gem of a hotel via Tripadvisor and the reviews were not wrong. It is a lovely hotel. Check in was very smooth and efficient despite the fact it was nearly midnight. We were also able to have a drink in the bar upon arrival. Our rooms were spacious, comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was lovely. A good selection... More

Do not be fooled. It has a very unassuming exterior. The area is not bad. McDonald's is two minutes away, the metro even nearer. There are shops opposite and a department store 3 minutes away, The area is somewhat downtown but by no means bad. Go to the metro and the attractions such as the Brandenburg Gate and the East... Good quality for a low price. Before setting off to Berlin we have compared several different options and this hotel was by far the cheapest, offering good quality at the same time. We were attending a private viewing in a local arts centre, so the location was perfect. Otherwise we would have chosen a different area of the city. Breakfast... More

Friendly, helpful and knowledgable staff. We stayed a week in room 609 at the back of the hotel so very quiet. Clean, comfortable bedroom. Good self-service breakfasts (including delicious home-made bread) on the roof-top terrace. Car park at no extra cost. Dog welcomed - big park across the road for exercise. Hotel in good situation near restaurants, subway station and... More

Because of the nearby subway station it is almost like staying in the heart of Berlin. Firstly the parking area is huge and tucked behind an archway entrance from the street. The receptionists are very friendly and helpful with local advice, eg the closest self service laundromat. The breakfast is excellent, lots of choice and good quality breads, juices etc.... More

We stayed here four nights. Room 411. We had a warm welcome at Reception and during our stay, nothing was too much trouble. The room was very clean and very comfortable. It has been a long time since I had such a comfortable first night's sleep in a strange bed! There was an excellent breakfast choice. I did try to... More

This was our first visit to Berlin and so we had no idea of the location and although the hotel is not at all centrally located , it is very close to the excellent metro service which means that we were easily able to see all that we wanted to. Scary moment when we arrived as the first impression of... More

My husband and I stayed three nights at this hotel in March of 2014. We were in room 614 facing the park on Hasenheide Strasse. Can't say much for the view because it was somewhat obstructed by a concrete barrier. That's the only negative thing I can offer about this room. I look for the following items when making a... Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighborhood Profile
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighborhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and 60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and 90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighborhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
