Was travelling with my family and friends this month starting ,was there for 3 nights -rooms were very comfortable and the front lobby staff were very good ,,,,,but the breakfast staff were very rude -acting too pricey for making one simple omelet -the chef was shouting back at us ,asking us to wait till he gets time to make it... Very good facilities and satff. the high points are the comfort in the room and the great Lobby decoration/klay out. Also a drink at the Harry's Bar is mandatory. The staff attitude, however, is the highest pont

The hotel is very nice, and the staff is really friendly and helpful. When it comes to the location, the hotel is a little bit to far away from everything, but you can catch a bus almost outside the hotel that takes you to the center of Berlin. There is no free internet in the rooms, you have to go... More

Stayed here for a Christmas-getaway, and booked a standard room with city view. Check-in was fast, and the staff member extremely polite. We felt very welcome. Room was on upper floor, and very quiet. It felt warm and cozy, and the huge bed was wonderful. Generally very clean, however, as I was unpacking my things and opened a drawer, it... More

It's conveniently located because of the proximity to the Embassy and the staff at the bar is very friendly, smooth check-in by concierge Johannes. However, the wifi connection is catastrophic and becomes a serious problem if you don't have a German provider on your phone. It's actually incredible that a hotel of this category offers this low quality for such... More

We stayed there for three nights and the hotel is indeed nice. The rooms are spacious, and since we had paid that extra fee, so as to have a view of the river, the view was also really nice. However, I found many of the employees that were working there really unprofessional (they had even tried to give us a... More

I've stayed at many SPG hotels before and this is definitely the WORST one I've ever stayed at, which is a shame because they do have the potential to be a decent hotel. I was reading recent reviews before writing mine and I noticed some others had similar experience as me: I checked my bank balance after the trip and... More

As I arrived to the hotel, I was informed that they are changing their IT systems and that I will need to settle my bill in two parts. I do understand that this kind of change requires some patience, however at the time I arrived to the reception desk there was a huge queue of people having to settle their... More

We stayed there for one night and had two rooms. The check in was slow. The free Wi-Fi in the lobby did not work. Paid internet costing 10 Euros was highly unstable and I got my money back. There was no indication on the room phone on how to make room to room calls. Called the reception thrice to find out but... Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
