I stayed at this property, and prepaid for it through Expedia. Several days after checking out the property charged me about $90 in incidentals never authorized by me. It seems they made quite a few mistakes, they have not one signature authorization by myself. They charged me for parking, and I didn't drive a car, they charged for a mini... More

This hotel would have been great in the 90,s as its a bit tired now. Its just been taken over from Starwood Hotels late last year and still has teething problems I guess from its last owners.. The Blond lady at reception was very arrogant as I was waiting to check in she totally ignored us for 10 minutes whilst... More

Was here in April 2015 My conclusion on this hotel is 8.0 / 10 - See photos I took to get a better idea - - Short review: Hotel very practical and comfortable. The employees are all very crodiali and competent. The pool is very nice although not huge. The room was ok to be a suite, with a very... More

This hotel is new to the Starwood Chain, so those of you who have platinum or gold SPG status are going to be a bit disappointed with the lack of "the SPG Experience", but that is the only reason I gave 4 rather then 5 stars. The hotel is newly renovated with great suites, and a wonderful breakfast. The staff... More

Visited after Easter weekend for five nights with my partner and 16yr old daughter. I liked the location by the river and it wasn't far from other amenities, transport and hustle and bustle. We had a penthouse with balcony which was lovely. It was spacious, comfy large bed, huge bathroom and spotlessly clean. My daughter wAs ok in her rollaway... More

Overall a nice hotel, good location, good decor. Our check-in took some time tough. They were not finding it easy to search our names, I could see the same problem being faced by other guests as well. The room climate control was not up to the mark, the air conditioner was not functioning properly. Will surely like to revisit the... More

Friendly and professional service, location not convenient: at least 15 minutes walk to the next attraction. Wi-Fi fees in the rooms, climate control in the room did not work and was adjusted remotely (the room was too warm during 5 nights) Room and bed are ok, nice pool, breakfast ok, Jim for extra charges Next time in Berlin I will... I chose this hotel because it wasn't in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the downtown area. The hotel sits in a quiet neighbourhood opposite a canal and a park. The #100 bus is almost just outside and can take you to the main sights (Reichstag; Alexanderplatz; Berliner Dom; Checkpoint Charlie etc) and the hop-on/hop-off bus is just... More

My stay at the hotel was very pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful. The standard room, that I had, was big enough very clean with large comfortable bed. It had everything you wanted. The bathroom was also spacious equipped with toiletries. The breakfast was buffet style with a vatiety of salty or sweet tastes. If the hotel was nearest the city center,... More

We just got back from a great trip to Berlin. We booked late so our options was limited. However this hotel showed up, and looked cheap and nice (€89 per night) for 3 people. But unfortunately the price did not include breakfast, internet or parking. Parking was 20€, Breakfast 22€ and internet 10€. That's 96€ extra pr. day. Parking was... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
