I spent 3 nights in the Grand Hyatt Berlin. The hotel is highly modern and beautifully decorated. The corridors are sleek and sophisticated with little subtle tributes to German history and culture. The rooms have everything you could need, an extremely comfortable bed, power shower, bath, lovely citrus amenities and for the UK traveller, there is also a 3 pin... More

We stayed at this hotel for a long weekend break and very very impressed. The hotel styling is very modern, but appealed to us. The staff were absolutely first class, with nothing too much trouble. Their assistance and advice were invaluable and really helped us maximise our time and enjoyment during our stay in Berlin. breakfast was superb. We would... More

Hyatt always keep up to their 5star standard. The staff is very helpful and aware. For example i asked for a good restaurant in the concerige desk since i was spending my birthday. Not only they helped me to get a table in one of the busiest restaurants, before we got upp the 5stairs by elevator (aprox. 60 seconds) it... More

Good Hotel. The design is modern. The staff were very helpful and efficient. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped. I was supposed to have a view but I was just overlooking a boring Mall! The breakfast was generous and included. The hotel was very good value for money. Yet, it felt just a wee bit clinical to me -... More

This was the first time in Berlin with my wife and children and we decided for a traditional and international brand hotel; the result was as expected. Very good! The location is very convenient, closely to Sony Centre and walk distant of Brandenburger Gate, Reichstag, The "Wall", Check point Charlie, etc. The Potsdamer Platz underground station is few steps far... We enjoyed a two night break at this hotel. It was in an excellent location in a wonderful city. The staff went out of their way to give amazing service and the bedroom was so comfortable. The only downside and it is very minor was that the cooked breakfast was not piping hot but realise it must be difficult to... More

The Grand Hyatt Berlin is one of the best hotels I have ever visited, possibly number one on the list. The rooms and hallways are perfectly decorated in a mix of German high tech with high-end marble and wood finishes. Every last light fixture, water tap, and power outlet is perfectly designed to be both chic and understated. The hotel... More

total customer oriented service, all time nice and courteous people, well-being feeling everywhere, calm and spacious rooms, food and drinks in perfect quality - what more should I say (what a dumb thing to fill in at least 200 signs at Tripadvisor, don´t you think?)

This is an excellent, modern, high tech hotel with a highly trained and friendly staff. Everyone from the Concierge desk is well informed, multi-lingual and willing to take time to help you navigate this busy city.

Stayed there for three nights recently. The reception was flexible enough to accord me a room although I arrived early around 8am. This was much appreciated since I have flew around 14 hours to get to Berlin. The restaurant Vox serves good breakfast spread. Since I am on a business trip, I have no chance to try out their other... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
