Was here for a three day seminar and really liked the hotel. Great location.Good reception and Bar. Rooms are modern with new interiors and are very spacious. Service was one of the best. The hotel is in walkable distance to plenty of good food restaurants, in case if you are lazy or tired then food at own restaurant is also... More

This was our second stay at the Grand Hyatt Berlin. The location is absolutely perfect and is walkable to many attractions. The room was lovely. Loved the heated floor in the bathroom. The hotel is located near lots of restaurants. In my experience, the Hyatt's breakfast buffet is very expensive and is not worth it if you are paying for... More

We stayed there for 3 nights in April 2015 and we had a great time. The staff is professional, helpful and nice (reception, housekeeping, and restaurant : everyone is perfect!). The room was in the 6th floor facing the courtyard so it was really quiet. It was big and perfectly clean. Bed is incredibly comfortable you don't want to wake... More

I am very fond of this hotel, the location is great particularly for the Philharmonie but also the transport hub of Potsdamer Platz. Staff are always helpful and obliging. On this occasion I arrived very early and while the room was not ready I was able to use the Club Lounge and the Spa to freshen up after an overnight... More

Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights over Easter, Highly recommended. Lovely bedrooms with feather quilts and lots of mod cons. Central location. Entertainment playing both the Friday and Saturday nights. Unable to pay for drinks and snacks everything chargeable to the room.

This hotel is ideally located on the old division between the east and west which allows easy access to all areas of the city. For those with the inclination, the main park is a short walk away and ideal for runners. This trip was a mixture of business and pleasure. The conference facilities and dinner and the ballroom were both... More

Make no mistake the Grand Hyatt in Marlene Detrich Plaza is no slouch. It is stylish and very well equipped with everything you would expect from a hotel of this calibre and price level (it's not cheap but then you will be expecting that). Myself and my wife found everything was "just so" and we had a great couple of... More

Compared to my recent stay at the Waldorf Astoria, the Hyatt was equally comfortable and appointed. Food price much more reasonable for the same quality. I would choose this hotel again next time I travel.

We are fortunate to travel a lot and have stayed in very many hotels throughout the world. All things considered the Grand Hyatt Berlin is one of the best we've ever visited and it comes as no surprise that it gets so many excellent TripAdvisor scores. Pros Great location for walking to many of the key tourist attractions in the... More

This hotel is centrally located in Berlin, within walking distance of the Brandenburg Gate and other tourist attractions, as well as the business district. The rooms are lovely, as are the facilities. The staff was exceptional and the room was quiet and well appointed. I look forward to returning for another stay.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
