We stayed in December for 5 days in the Grand Hyatt in Berlin and from the first moment we had a very warm welcome. The room position was in the garden as we asked for .the room are modern tastefully furnished and very comfortable. The fact you get every day your complementary bottle of water and fruits is the style... More

STayed In march 2014, business meeting for 3 days Actually by surprise a good hotel, initially seemed far away but 20 mins walk to Brandenburg gate. So not far at all! High Quality hotel, very helpful staff. Good location, just round corner from train station and metro links, within 5 minutes of walking at most. Good food from hotel resturants.... More

We stayed at the Grand Hyatt for a long weekend in November. Book the right dates and you can take in the Chirstmas market (Gendarmenmarkt) in the square in front of the cathedral which is great. The hotel is only a 2 minute (300 yard) walk from the train station which you can get direct from Schoenfeld airport at a... More

My wife and I never stay in 5* hotels, but travelzoo had a deal that was impossible to refuse so we decided to treat ourselves. It takes about 45 minutes to get from the airport to the hotel (Schoenfeld->Sudkreuz->Potsdamer Platz). Just buy a Berlin ABC ticket (€3.20 single). From the moment we entered the hotel our time at the Hyatt... More

We stayed at the Grand Hyatt in Berlin in late October. The hotel is conveniently located and surrounded by cute cafes and bars. We stayed on the concierge floor which is well worth the money. The room and bathroom are both spacious and well appointed. Beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean and quiet. We had a... More

Many Hoteliers classify their hotels as 5 Star, this hotel lived up to its expectations. The reception staff were wonderful, polite, attentive, great sense of humour, and extremely helpful every thing was conducted with a welcome smile, including our free upgrade. The hotel was spotless top to bottom, including our very spacious and well appointed 6th floor room which included... More

We spent three nights here in a nice comfortable room with great view of the Philharmonic and beyond. Some nice little touches in the room such as chocs and fruit and tea/coffee facilities. Staff were friendly and pleasant. Breakfasts were very good with lots of variety and choice. The hotel has a very convenient location for visiting the interesting sights... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
