We had a big room, plenty space. The breakfast was outstanding, a lot of choises en the service is very nice, friendly. We stayed 5 days. What we only missed is air-conditioning. When we stayed it was 35 degrees Celsius and in our room it was a little bit warm (not hot); this could be more comfortable if there was... More

Stayed at Hotel Domicil for a city trip, hotel is ideally located for this purpose, close to hte metro system and Kurfurstendam.Rooms are wel lequipped . Breakfast is complete, you can set outside on the terrace which gives you a good & nice view of Berlin. Setup of hotel is a bit awkward, you need to ge first to the... More

This hotel is in great location. Easy access to public transportation, restaurants and shopping. One can take a bus # 109 there from Txl airport. The staffs were nice. Mcdonald is next to the hotel. The bed is comfortable. there is a mini fridge. Wifi works good in room. They offer free drink if you don't need your room clean... More

Spent 3 nights at this hotel was brilliant for us easy to be found nice location close to train station and tube which are only a short ride to the city center. The room was large and clean even though the window was facing the junction at night time was very quiet .Overall a good hotel where I will definitely... More

The hotel is in a good location right next to both overground and underground stations which are only a short ride to the centre. Bear in mind it is not right in the middle, ok if you dont mind travelling in and out but not if you want to stumble back after a big night. Layout of the hotel is... More

Very satisfying hotel with a great quality-price ratio. Large rooms, excellent breakfast and fast internet connection. Although this hotel was acquired by the Nordic Group in March 2014 it still has a great sense of "family owned business" which means a personalized attention from all staff members. Restaurant and breakfast terrace is on 7th floor with a great view over... More

Located in a residential neiborhood, close to the "The Cube" (the new Convention Center in Berlin) and Tagel Airport. Not close to Museums or Berlin Wall places. It has a weird distribution, the lobby is in the 7 th floor so you may feel disoriented when you reach the adress the first time. Rooms are modest but clean. Good quality... More

We stayed there for three nights. They gave us a room on a smoking floor - there were no available rooms elsewhere. Because it smelled bad on cigarettes, we immediately asked for another one, which we got. Bed is very comfortable, bathroom is clean as well as the whole room. Particularly interesting for me was the fact that they still... More

Cannot praise this hotel and its staff enough. We had a wonderful city break here in Nov. 2014. Subway is right next door to the hotel, as is a McDonald's (if you fancy a burger!). Bus stop is right in front of the hotel. Train station to take you to the airport is a 15 minute walk around the back... More

We stayed 2 nights in Berlin after coming back from camping vacation. From this reason we really appreciated the excellent location near S-bahn (some 200 m). Th accomodation was good, receptionists helpful and nice, many meal options around. Wi-fi was working only in the lobby at the time of our stay which was not very convenient. The price per night... Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
