We stayed there for three nights. They gave us a room on a smoking floor - there were no available rooms elsewhere. Because it smelled bad on cigarettes, we immediately asked for another one, which we got. Bed is very comfortable, bathroom is clean as well as the whole room. Particularly interesting for me was the fact that they still... More

Cannot praise this hotel and its staff enough. We had a wonderful city break here in Nov. 2014. Subway is right next door to the hotel, as is a McDonald's (if you fancy a burger!). Bus stop is right in front of the hotel. Train station to take you to the airport is a 15 minute walk around the back... More

We stayed 2 nights in Berlin after coming back from camping vacation. From this reason we really appreciated the excellent location near S-bahn (some 200 m). Th accomodation was good, receptionists helpful and nice, many meal options around. Wi-fi was working only in the lobby at the time of our stay which was not very convenient. The price per night... We arrived early by several hours before the official book in time, and were immediately given early entry to the room without question. The room itself was large, spotless and despite overlooking a busy street below, was very quiet. It had a mini bar and some treats (wine and sweets) were laid out on a tray on arrival. The bathroom... More

In an excellent location, near rail station and underground. Our room was really large and bright and spotlessly clean. Large walk in shower. The breakfast buffet was excellent and included a huge array of fresh leaf teas. Very generous times too for breakfast and checkout. We liked the security aspect-to get to rooms you had to get 2 lifts via reception.... More

Poor pun, I know... However, this hotel is excellent value for money. Have just spent 5 nights here and would thoroughly recommend this as a base for exploring Berlin. Charlottenburg Station is just round the corner (direct line to Schoenfeld airport) and an underground station is outside the hotel door. Berlin Opera is a brisk 10 minute walk away. There... More

The hotel provides excellent service, the rooms are very clean and comfortable, the breakfast buffet is great and the location is fantastic (5 minutes walk to the metro station (U-Bahn / S-Bahn) and from there less than 10 minutes to Berlin main station.

If you want a clean, friendly Hotel that try to help you at all times then this Hotel is for you! My daughter and I stayed here for 4 nights. After a very noisy first night we asked to be moved to a quieter room as asked for. Within 2 mins we had a lovely room at the back of... More

The hotel is a good choice for a few days intense trip to Berlin. The LOCATION is quite convenient: vis a vis the U-Bahn station and the bus station, two minutes from an S-Bahn station. The hotel is close to the Charlottenburg Palace and to one of the locations to hop on a boat cruise on the Spree river. The... More

Yes, reception is on the 7th floor but it's not hard to push the elevator button. Staff bend over backwards to help guests with all aspects of seeing the city. The rooms are spotless and the breakfast very well done. There are several shops close by with a variety of goods .

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
