Very good hotel. The price is quite low for what it is. The rooms are very confortable, the service is ok, the location is not the best one but has a tram station in the corner (it can take you 15' to the center). Very satisfied.

I stayed here for 2 nights and paid £78 for the pleasure. Very cheap for a four star hotel. The room was incredibly comfortable, especially the bed and staff very accommodating when we asked for an iron, more towels etc. Would definitely stay here again. A little far out from the centre but was a perfect location for me.

A nice bright clean room with a city view. Quiet and spacious. Good location next to the S Bahn station. Very convenient for Schoenefeld Airport. Shops and restaurants nearby. Friendly staff. Overall a great value for money!

I had chance to stay here with my wife on a 3 day trip to Berlin. The transport links are great - you can get tickets from reception. We did not have breakfast as we were in Berlin by 10 each day and had breakfast out. You can get a tram to Alexanderplatz every 5 min just round the corner.... More

A good standard of hotel not luxuery but certainly not budget standard better. It is somewhere between a Premier Inn and a Thistle mor to the thistle end of spectrum. Well run, maintained and managed Ideally located at a major transport interchange with Trams, S-Bahn and buses. Fast trams to city centre make this an ideal base at affordable price.... More

Clean comfortable stay. It was very easy to get from the Schoneberg airport to this hotel. The hotel is right next to a Generator Hostel, which we also looked at but decided we needed more comfort. This hotel was just that. Normal sized hotel room. Housekeeping even left new clean towels when we had the "do not disturb" sign on... More

I recently stayed at this hotel because I like the areas of Prenzlauer Berg and Friedrichshain in Berlin a lot. Plus a night was only 45 Euros for 2 people! The hotel and the rooms are a bit old-fashioned but it was clean and the reception staff were very helpful and friendly. So for that price thumbs up! Also just... More

The hotel is a little bit older but is very clean and comfort. We asked for a quiet room and we got it on the opposite side of the street so we didn't have so nice view. The staff is polite and always on service. Location is excellent, next to the tram and S-bahn stations so you can easily reach... More

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighborhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighborhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
