The room is really splendid and the location is great. I love. Very hygienic. Staff are so helpful and gentle. Internet access everywhere. The view is not bad. I really recommend this hotel. I just forgot my loyalty card 😃

We have reached hotel 13 Feb 2015. We check in and found out that the safe was broken, we were already late so we decided to go do some shopping and have dinner then report about the safe box. Next day morning, I received a text message from my credit card bank that 50 euros have been deducted from my... More

Dear Yrlguindy, we understand your frustration and uncertainty. Unfortunately even a hotel equipped with modern safety measures cannot always prevent intrusion, although we have taken preventive measures according to the current standard. Therefore we urge all our guests to use the safe provided, our staff is always available to help you if there are any questions regarding the handling and... More

Besides it's called by Alexanderplatz... It's not at the square. You have to walk a while to get at the hotel. But it's not impossible... It's a little bit old. Needs a remodeling. The staff is ok. There is no luggage room as others Mercures.

Al in all a good experience. Good room and good breakfast. HOWEVER the wifi does not work in our room. Asking the reception to fix it resulted in a restart of the range-extender, which I explicitly told them was not the issue. The issue is the the range extenders are placed to far apart! The second time I approached the... More

We spent the weekend in this hotel. It's located easy walking distance from Alexanderplatz and the room we had was very spacious and newly renovated. Breakfast was good - nice variety and held over a wide range of hours. The bar doesn't have great atmosphere but if you just want a quiet drink, it's sufficient.

Good choice as business hotel in Berlin. Rooms are well designed and have space. Hotel is a little bit too far away from the U-public transport. Breakfast is much overpriced, already in general but also for what is offered. OK for a short term stay in business or private.

The room i stayed were spacious, clean with large balcony, a bit noise due facing on the street. For me that no problem but should be take the room in the back if you looking for quiet. Breakfast was good with variety of choice and staff were friendly.Overall it was good experience

Our room was very spacious with a large balcony. The beds were comfortable and breakfast was included which was sufficient. My dissapointment was with the receptionist. We reported that we were missing an aftershave and could she check with housekeeping. We had no one get back to us we had to query it again the following day and were told... More

Located near the Alexanderplatz square that the best location to stay in Berlin in my opinion. The lobby is small and simple with courteous staff! The rooms are large and very spacious unbelievably! The beds are comfortable and there is even a large balcony facing the street. But in general the furniture is not new and a little aesthetic atmosphere... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
