Stayed here again for a convention. All the positives from my previous stay still apply. I found a few excellent cafes and restaurants nearby, near the lake and on Kantstr. The lakeside is very pleasant in late fall. As usual the breakfast is wonderful with the choice of meats.

Went on a conference at citycube Berlin, this hotel is great located, perfect walking distance and very nice and peaceful area. The feeling of the hotel is that it's pretty old and should need a little makeover, but it's clean and everything was "ok", but not better than that, except for the breakfast. The breakfast was nice, also with a... More

Stayed at the Seehof for a week for business. There are no frills here, but it is a comfortable, neat hotel. Be sure to carry your toiletries. The view from the rooms that face the lake is lovely and very relaxing. The aircon in my room did not work very well, but I kept the window open and it was... More

A hotel suggested to me by event organisers and it was certainly practical, leaving just a pleasant short morning walk to the venue. Overall, a nice and clean hotel with great views over the lake (I asked for a room overlooking the lake). Staff is friendly and helpful and the breakfast is very varied and fresh with an interesting offer... More

I got this hotel via Hotwire where I've book hotels many times before. This is the first time I was super unhappy. It really did not measure up to the other hotels I've stayed at through Hotwire and certainly not a hotel I would have booked. The lobby smelled so much like cigarettes! When we checked in and got to... More

I chose this for the location near the ICC messe. The hotel is located on a nice, quiet side street off the busy Kantstr. The hotel backs on to a lake and the immediate area is very pleasant. I asked for a room with two beds and got a very pleasant room with wood paneling and good views. It also... More

This is good business hotel. My room was clean, specious, comfortable, I had safe in the room.. When I asked - staff brought me ironing board and iron. Heating was ok. Breaksaf was very good, very delicious and various. Near Seehof is lake Lietzenzee, and I walked there - very beautiful place. Underground is 10min walk from the hotel.

Spent almost 1 week at this lovely hotel on the tail end of a Euro trip in Aug/Sept with friends. This 4 star hotel may not be quite up there with the bigger glitzier 5 Star offerings and it may be a little older and the décor a little more worn but its well priced and well maintained with good... Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
