Pros: Very close to U-bahn Bernauer station. Berlin Wall Memorial was nearby. Supermarket Norma(Aldi) was walking distance. Area was safe even for night walks. Apartment was roomy and clean with kitchen and laundry amenities. Phone was available for communicating with property management. Staff was friendly and helpful. Checking-in and checking-out were a breeze. Cons: Garbage cans were just outside the... More

I stayed here with two friends for a short trip to Berlin. The apartment we got looked so much better than the pictures, it was really decorated really simple and nice. It has kitchen equipment such as a big fridge, stove, knives, and more... It's located in a quiet area, so it felt really good to come there after a... More

Checked in at the Raja Joseppi Cafe. We had a very nice large 1 bedroom apartment, living/TV room easily sleeps one person. Full kitchen with microwave, stove, sink, dishwasher. Bathroom had a washing machine and a tub with adjustable shower wand. Our apartment was on the 2nd floor with windows that open. Location was good. Very close to the underground... More

We're more than happy with our stay here. Furnished in a minimalist way, the apartment has nevertheless everything we needed. We appreciated the proximity of the U-Bahn station which is a minute away, the spacious living room and the restaurant which has great tasting and quality food (the fussili and the rösti were great!) Our only criticism is that the... More

Stayed here for a short break in an apartment opposite the main apartment block . The majority of people staying here seemed to be locals which helped make it feel like I was living here . This particular apartment (5) is on 4th floor without a lift which was made clear when I booked . The room Facilities were fine... More

We had apartment no. 1 for 3 nights. It was very spacious and well laid out. Care was taken for decorating and furnishing. A real gem of a place. The kitchen is well equipped and beds are comfortable. Steps away from the Berlin Wall Memorial, but lacking in restaurants in the area. The only problem was going from the living... More

Stayed with my husband during the first week of June. The Green View apartments are separate from the cafe and are spread out nearby. Our studio was close by with remnants of the Berlin Wall pretty much in our backyard. The studio was spacious with a separate kitchen area and balcony. Was great to do our washing here! The area... Cannot find a seperate restaurant to leave a comment on Tripadvisor, but they have also a restaurant at the accomodation. Fresh food, nice little terras near the street and friendly staf. We came along while visiting the Wall and only took a drink. But should have tried it if it was lunch or dinnertime.

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
