We were a bit concerned by the name of the hotel, but once we arrived our opinion changed as we were encountered by a very trendy hotel, with pleasant staff, in a good location serviced by both metro and tram, great breakfast, good ambience for this city. As the hotel is located in Berlin's red light district suggest getting a... More

Hotel is well positioned for S Bahn and short walk to museums and unter den linden etcetera. Bed is comfortable, room faces rear of hotel so not on main drag. Don't know about late night events as we are not late night people. Handy for local restaurants would recommend a restaurant called Oranium. Breakfast was really good, very fresh, good... More

Hotel is well located close to S-bahn and U-bahn stations, also walking distance to many sights. There are lots of restaurants nearby. Our room was in 3rd floor, clean, modern and mostly quiet. The pillows are very flat, we asked second pillows when arrived but didn't get them for first night, though next day they were waiting us in the... More

Brilliant location, quiet comfortable and spacious room. The staff were more than helpful and very friendly, booking taxis giving advice etc. The breakfast was fantastic and I was really impressed with the range and quality of the food, a really relaxed friendly atmosphere over breakfast it was great.

We stayed in a triple room at this hotel. the room was quite small and the third bed seemed to have been placed there on the day. The room was in very garish colours with bright pink wall paper and a black plastic type bed with large diamantes all over the bed head. The single bed had no bed head... More

I went back to check on how this place describes itself on the various travel sites. I pointed out to the reception desk just how much they mislead perspective guests by their false advertising. They seemed un-phased, seriously un-phased. The place looks nice on the ground floor once you get past the prostitutes hanging out in front. There is no... More

Hotel is comfortable minimalistic and has the best breakfast worthy of any 5 star we have stayed at. Rooms are basic but comfortable. Would recommend hotel as it is convenient and close to transport and lots of restaurants in a very buzzy interesting area with "ladies of the night" pacing the sidewalks!!!!!! The hotel is located in the former East Berlin & is surrounded by restaurants & is close to museum island & the Berlin Dom as well as public transportation. Lots of variety here & is safe. It is also a block away for IES overseas study students. The room was comfortable & the staff were accommodating & friendly. The rate... More

Stayed 5 nights in room 301. I agree with all of the positives listed in previous reviews. A few notes that make this hotel just shy of perfect for me: - bathroom was open to the main room and the shower had a glass wall: this meant that light/noise in bathroom disturbs the other person (who could still be trying... I read reviews on trip advisor and everything pointed to the kind of hotel I like. A small hotel that I discovered offered great personal service. Staff was always available and so friendly offering all kinds of information of enjoying my first visit to Berlin. Suggestions of where to eat, cafes, shopping and most important places to visit. The rooms... More
