We liked this place. Great location, near to U-Bahn and S-Bahn stations, though you could also easily walk to Brandenburger Tor etc. Hotel itself is modern, clean, nicely designed. Reception staff were lovely. Room was fine with no noise at night from busy Oranienburger Strasse, though the bathroom sink was rather small! Must give a special mention to the breakfast... More

I stayed for 3 nights. Reception is very friendly and helps you about everything. Also roomkeeping is very good although the room was small. When i entered the room i found my untidy things and thirts on the bed in a tidy position. That was great! The bathroom was designed with German style which is great also. And hotel has... More

We stayed here recently and were so pleased with this hotel. It is ultra modern, quiet, clean, very reasonably priced, great location near Hakkers Market and next to Oranienburger station. Highly recommended. Within walking distance of many of the key attractions. There is also a very good restaurant across the road called Rosemary serving delicious Mediterranean dishes, wonderful salads and... More

The hotel is conveniently located, we walked to Alexanderplatz and Museum Island and even to the Brandenburg Gate. The Subway and Tram stations are just 2 mins walk away. The hotel is clean and in a great condition. Gives you a home feeling, which is very important. Could do with a wardrobe/locker to unpack into but never mind. No aircon... More

This boutique restaurant is in a great positon, if you like walking and sight seeing. On the same toad as the Great Synagoue, with the golden dome visible from other parts of the city. The hotel is also very close to the museum complex, Brundenburg gate, Alexander place. Trams run along the street and a train station is also within.... More

I was very surprised by the hotel style, really trendy with hint of past classic styles. My room was so spacious I could dance waltz there. Beautiful bathroom. Every room is a different style I was told. Totally superb location, in walking distance to the heart of the city. WiFi worked very well in my room and was included in... More

Wonderful hotel, extremely well located in the center of Berlin. The rooms are chic, quiet, and clean. Bathroom excellent. Wonderful Breakfast lounge. Staff is very friendly. In the neighborhood you will find restaurants as many as you want. You can take tram or metro but Hackesche Höfe and Friedrichstrasse are in walking distance. Highly recommendable.

The hotel was not exactly what we were hoping for. The door of the room opened only with a password: a little kick on the door. The room was very little and dark and it was almost impossible to recharge our phones. Thank god we managed to push the beds a bit away because under the bed we found a... More

this modern hotel is percfect to visit most of Berlin's sites. Comfortable, quiet, well equipped and really clean room, fantastic shower. Staff is very kind and helpful. Breakfast's choice is really rich and you can have it sitting at this long, fantastic table (you can see in the pictures). It definetly deserves the choice.

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
