My check in was all ok, kind two ladies. Later it got worse. The door to my room were impossible to open. I struggled a lot, asked for help from cleaning lady. During my second night the doors came out of frame partly ! I called the receptionist, but her english was very bad. Her attitude was just bad, in... More

Centrally located walking distance away from all main locations in Berlin and well connected to the airport by bus. Good dining places nearby. My room was very small but sufficient if you are not planning to spend much time in the room. Good breakfast served in the morning. Very convenient! Recommended for a short stay in beautiful Berlin.

I stayed with all my family including parents, sisters and kids in this hotel for the Easyer holidays and really enjoyed the stay! The rooms are very nice with great style and each one different from the other. The whole hotel has great design! The breakfast exceeded our expectations and I loved the long table with everyone sitting together. Location... More

This hotel could not have a better location and the rooms are quirky, well in keeping with the bohemian feel of the area. Great value and comfortable with most rooms towards the rear it is quiet as well.

Nice and neat little hotel. Rooms were lovely. Our room faced the main street, so was a little noisy with the bars and cafes. Breakfast was lovely and the lady at the front reception was very helpful. Good location and within walking distances to trains, trams and restaurants.

This is a very nice hotel in the middle of this exciting city. We stayed there for three nights and it was indeed a very good and priceworthy stay. The breakfast consisted of a huge number of things, varying from yuoghurt to german sausages. The room was not a huge one, but spacious enough. Also it is situated a short... More

We liked this place. Great location, near to U-Bahn and S-Bahn stations, though you could also easily walk to Brandenburger Tor etc. Hotel itself is modern, clean, nicely designed. Reception staff were lovely. Room was fine with no noise at night from busy Oranienburger Strasse, though the bathroom sink was rather small! Must give a special mention to the breakfast... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
